Nexbook AMlogic root WORK!

So I got four NextBook7P12-8G, during the November/December 2012 sale ($79), 3 of them died with NAND corruption (were returned via RMA and got new ones), the forth died of a WIFI (COM1 port failure), got it's RMA...
So this model is a August 2013 model, it has almost the same specs but the build changed...
1) The 25 Free books and the App to read them are removed.
2) Their is now a GSENSOR.APK/ODEX and an libgsensor.so in the lib that allows one to calibrate the G-Sensor in the settings-display.
I got it rooted with the Impactor method, and added the free books and the app back (I can post a ZIP with instructions if one wants it), but I am now trying to backport the G-Sensor Calibration App to the other NEXT7P12-8G and my NEXT8P12-4G.

Just wanted other to know there is a newer image for the NEXT7P12-8G...

If you are rooted, you can dump the newer ROM and I can create a flashable zip of it. Porting the new features to a different model would take a little more work, but may be possible.

if anyone can post a stock image to the amlogic 7p12-8g I'd appreciate it a lot! I have one that's just sitting here dead, seems the stock android image just decided to break itself after a while, the hardware looks like it's functioning normally.

I've got one I created from a system dump. I don't know if it is the most recent shipping version. It has not been tested because I don't own this model. If you are willing to test, I'll post it later tonight.

I would love to test it. Worst case scenario I go from having a broken tablet to having a tablet that is broken in a slightly different way. Best case it gets fixed.

I want to uplode Arduino sketshes from my tablet
the OTG works fine on keyboards and usb flash drives but when
i connect the Arduino board the ArduinoCommander app and the
ArduinoDroid app says "no board found" but the USB Host Controll
app recognize the Arduino borad
dose it need to be rooted or not?
and if so is this the proper way to root it pleas help

For full root, use Cydia Impactor.

Depends on where U are.

If you remove the cover you void your warranty..

In Germany one doesn't loose the warrenty, if he uncovers his device. Rules are different.
But I would like to do a very different thing – I wont my tab with DebIan. Of course standard armhf-DebIan with no more of an Droid mess.

What exactly do you want to do? Do you just need root?

Do you have an external micro SD card?

try to uninstall the drivers

then activate usb debugging in setting then connect ur device to the pc

it should install the drivers form microsoft servers

After 3 days of endless reading and messing around with the tab finally rooted it with Impector.Checked it with root checker from google play.
OBJECTIVE : 1. Install CWM recovery.
2. Flash CM 10.1

But here's the catch, even after rooting i am unable to install CWM. tried nearly everything from here and xda.Nothing seems to work.There is no official version of CWM for my tab.

Specs: nextbook 7p12
s/n: YF 0513...
PHM727MC (i dunno what that means )

Also tried update.zip by BOB. Some .img file too.When in stock recovery it keep showing segnature verification thingy.

Can anyone please tell me what to do next as i am hell bent on either flashing it to CM10.1 or BRICK IT !!!

Cwm and cm10.2 have to be coupled with the kernel specific for your tablet. If u had the stok rom that would be easy. Not sure there was even a cm10 for nextbook. Im guessing some took christian troys ramdisk and adapted it.
