Well....not that funny...it does work' but it doesn't give me any additional permissions. I can't view the root folder and all the apps still can't run as root.

So there is some binary in system/bin named su' but it doesnt seem to do much for me.

sounds like you have a new or recent installation. I'd try to install again and hope for the best!

Yes, its all brand new. When you say install again, you think I should re-flash? Sure seemed like the flash worked fine.

i do think that the base Rom was the newest from geekbuying ( 1.7 ) not sure if that would have affected it or not. ( although I can't see how, since the flash does a wipe and then basically starts clean... )

I guess i will try uninstalling superuse ( although when I installed SuperSU, it said it couldn't install )

my job deals with similar issues sorta. People try to troubleshoot issues on a new installation forever then a fresh install solves the problem. Check the md5 on the file(s) before you flash them. It's worth a try

I honestly am suprised that anyone would try to flash a ROM..... NOT KNOWING.... if a stock ROM exists for them to recover to!

okan: Are you sure you have a mk808 and not the mk808b - the "b" uses a 903 chip instead of 901.

I solved the problem. Altough I ordered an MK808, appearantly Geekbuying sent me an MK808b. But there was no way for me to know it since nowhere on the box it says "b". Anyway, I installed the b rom and it works now.

I guess you can change start page in build.prop or browser on your own, if you want different start- page.
