In response to Kozmo2k4's immediate helpful comment and in order to make matters clear to yourself. I am an old fashioned English techie and the mention of the wallpaper was by way of polite conversation and not intended in any way as a criticism.

Aren't these forum police guys just doing a wonderful job.

No worries mate! I would have said something if I was offended. Some people post the wrong way and can hit a button with me. Yours was not that way.

By the way one other reason I was not offended is I did not choose that wallpaper! That was in the stock ROM for MX1 that I used for systemUI. I could change it but I work for performance and not work on "theming" things that users can easily change after boot up. So you cant blame me for picking that

Reboot to 1.6 ROM from Picuntu

I installed Picuntu according to the installation guide. Flashed Ubuntu kernel to recover kernel. Booted into 1.6. and rebooted with reboot to revovery to Picuntu. How can I get back to Finless 1.6 ?
Any further reboot brings ne to picuntu again.

Omagemoon fix for HDMI

Hello Finless, Thanks for the great Rom.

Did you look at the kernel from Omegamoon ? It apperently fix the blank screen on many TV model.

Would be great to have that in your Rom. I have a Sharp and a Toshiba with Blank scren.

Hey Finless I can confirm that I have now a working Sharp TV with MK808.

Loaded Omegamoon Kernel with your rom and I have finally an image.

I haven't tested the rest but this is a good start I think !

hi guys,

using the rkremotecontrol app is it possible to drag an icon from one screen to the other? or even long press an icon in the app drawer to make a shortcut on the homescreen?

I have tried multiple combinations but nothing seems to be working. I have also searched the thread but I did not get a satisfactory answer to it.

xbox controller almost working lol

Hi Finless Cheers for the rom '1.6 works amazing for me ' i have one annoying problem its when i play certain games with wireless xbox controller the camera spins to the left on its own 'its like the anolouge is mapped to the left trigger ' the controller works fine in Onlive and other games ' its just dead trigger 'gta' & shadow gun . I understand a wired xbox controller works fine which is telling me its something simple to do with keymappings ' i used to own a ainol aurora 2 which i could play dead trigger with ps3 controller but do not have it anymore. Anyway my question to you is would you be able to apply a update to copy the key mappings from wired xbox controller to work with wireless xbox controller . i been searching online and people have been able to sort it out but to be honest i dont really know what im doing .

Keep up the good work cant get over how good this 50 euro tv stick is :-)

I do not have a wirless controller but I do have a old game pad by logitech. I used Joy Center APP to remap touch activity to buttons and sticks and I got Dead Trigger working. Remapping stoped the camera spinning problems. Oh and I also went into settings and changed some of the input keys etc.

I was able to get it working but its a bit tricky. you have to go in touchpad mode and touch the area of your smartphone screen where the icon lies on the actual tv/monitor screen. For example if you have a browser icon at the bottom left of the screen just above the status bar, then on the touchpad you tap and hold the bottom left area and move it around to move the icon.

its a bit tricky and will take some practice and doesnt always work accurately all the time. same goes for all other actions. the touchpad is actually emulating the mk808 screen on your smartphone without showing an image of the actual output so you have to guess exactly where to click to achieve the desired result.

EDIT: thats why I ended up buying droidmote as its much faster and supports multi touch gestures plus using rkremotecontrol is a pain in games e.g. angry birds.

I have tried this joy center APP but it doesnt seem to recognise any of my usb devices? what am i doing wrong?

Conect PC monitor to mk808

Hello, I'm trying to connect PC monitor Samsung 206bw to mk808 with DVI intput, but it blinking, turn on/off, sometimes working fine with small resolution. Tried with DELL P2312ht and it working fine with 1920x1080 resolution. Samsung have max resolution 1680x1050. Can I connect that monitor to MK808, or it is worthless. What resolutions support MK808?
