      - HDMI directly to projector
      - I have the latest firmware that was posted here (it was already included when I booted the box for the first time)

      Results:
      - Music on Kodi sometimes has hiccups (have to check out if it is bitrate dependent).
      - Video on Kodi runs smoothly and so does the audio except when passing through Dolby or DTS - in this case the amp recognizes the encoded Dolby and DTS but has hiccups every few seconds - is there a fix for this? Does it also happen through HDMI?
      - Everytime I boot the box I have to go the the Android settings and revert the audio output from HDMI to SPDIF (this is annoying). Does this happen to anyone? Any fix for this?

      Thanks in advance

I'm using a Logitech wireless mouse/keyboard to control my X2. I can turn it off with CTRL + ALT + DEL keys. Is there a way to turn it on from the keyboard ? Does anyone know how the original remote does the turn on. There must be an equivalent keyboard key combination that would do the turn on job ?

BTW . I now have two of them. Great box.

After you flash the one you wish, so flash so it looks in the picture then starts it.

I tried searching this thread before posting my question. But I am not clear if it's safe to FREEZE the update apk on our BEELINK. Don't get me wrong. I love that they are sending out semi-regular updates. But I am running KODI 16.1 with a custom KODI BUILD ( APOLLO) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgfUJ0Zzer8 and it never fails each time the box updates it erases all my addons and the KODI 16.1. I have to say I love the BOX but thee updates are maddening! I have other china boxes that update without wiping out all my APK files. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

                      Hello everyone,
I have just received a Beelink X2 H3 new box. just like kolankobulka, it came with 208k4 firmware. I have done many times before, I downgraded the box to 203k4 firmware and removed the 2 upgrade apps which won't allow it automatically upgrade to newer firmware. Because when it is upgraded, it changed all my setting in Kodi. I kept them all the same firmware which allows me to backup from one unit and restore to the rest.
With the new box, after downgraded to 203k4, it hung up at booting. I have tried all other image files(v201k4,v202k4,v203k4 and v204k4) that I have, they all do the same.
I have also tried what Mickee suggested in post #562.

glennguciguch, did you get your problem resolved? It sounds like I have the same problem as you have.

I am wondering if the new box cannot use the old firmware - some hardware is changed.

                      Any suggestion from anyone?
Does anyone have the new 208k4 firmware?
                      Thanks.

                        Hello everyone,
My Beelink X2 still get stuck in booting, stuck at after the 2nd time the display of the Allwinner H3 logo. I have tried flashing the V203K4 firmware many times using either PhoenixSuit and PhoenixUSBPro, same result - not able to bootup all the way to the main menu. Using PhoenixSuit, every time it said it finished successful. As I recall, it used to take more than one minute for flashing the firmware, but with this box it always took about 35 seconds to complete.
I have used PhoenixCard to make a boot-up MicroSD using same firmware V203K4. The box booted up all the way and able to use the box as usual, able to update Kodi to v16.1 and watching movies. It seems it takes a little longer to boot-up, everything seems to be working okay except not able to do online upgrade. It went thru the upgrade process, but after re-boot, same original version of firmware on the MicroSD. Actually, I was hoping it would upgrade the firmware into the Flash-ROM. Removed the MicroSD, system still could not boot-up all the way.
Does anyone have done JTAG on Beelink X2? Can anyone provide the JTAG procedure for this Beelink X2?
                        Thanks.

Serial number start with "X2H3CKFH", 5 numeric digits after. This is the box that I have booting problem after I changed the firmware from V208K4 to V203K4.

Another box that I have is working fine, the serial number starts with "OU2AUSG4J", 5 numeric digits after. I have been using this box for at least for 6 months.

I did ask you about serial number, because i notice the last version of the box has different wi-fi chip. I have box with serial number starts with A2, and this box has different wi-fi chip (RTL8189ETV).
The previous version of this box has AMPak 6181 wifi chip. So they maybe incompatible with older firmware, like 203k4, so that why your newest box has problem with older rom.

Thanks kolankobulka for your input. When I used PhoenixCard to create a bootable MicroSD with V203K4, the box booted up okay and ran few apps fine that I have tried. That seems indicate the firmware works okay with the box that I think. I have tried few other versions that I have using PhoenixCard to make bootable MicroSD, that ran fine too. If I remember correct, I did run the wi-fi speed test using SHAFA market, that showed wifi was working too.
I remember when I used the PhoenixSuit to program V203K4 into the box, I picked to format the flash which was not the recommend choice in PhoenixSuit. But I have done both ways on few Beelink X2 boxes before - format or not format. Might be when using "format", it erased a required file that is not on firmware image file. It puzzles me the box works fine with V203K4 on MicroSD. If it is looking for a missing file, it will do the same when using bootable MicroSD.
