I have purchased Titanium Backup Pro and installed to BeeLink X2. 1st time user on Titanium Backup. Without thinking, I ran the "freeze for all users and system apps". That was a "NO NO" mistake. The screen went blank and never able to boot again. After multiple times flashing the ROM image, the box just won't boot up. Then I did the format and flash image using PhoenixSuit, it wiped out all apps including Titanium Backup, then BeeLink X2 was able to boot up again. Then I did "edit filters" for "system update", freeze "System Update 1.00.00" and "System update 4.1.0.2". So far, I believe it is working, no more auto update the system into 205K4. The main reason that I want to maintain using 203K4 - the box boots up as soon as I apply power to the box. And I do not really see any advantage to use 205K4.

I disabled it on my router ans thank you si much, it works like a charm.
YouTube app is not well designed for use on TV box with remote, but my kids are happy anyway.

I received my box today and updated it to the latest version ( 7th Jan 2016 ) but on Kodi I can't change the resolution, it's fixed at 720p, even if on Android is set to 1080p60.

Any idea how can I make Kodi work on 1080p?

I have the same problem. Is there any solution for this?

I have used external app to check the resolution of my screen and it says 1280x720! How is this possible when I have set the resolution in android settings to 1080p60?

you can download this terminal emulator and open it.
Write su (click enter) and now give access to Superuser .
Now write wm size 1980x1080 and click enter. Now the resolution will change to 1080p.

X2 is working and is great for the buck.

The only problem is that it does not support AC3 HW decoding -> Plex ask for transcoding of the movies.
From what I understand, It's nothing to be done.

I know that Kodi and MX Player can software decode AC3, but it's not the case for Plex...

I have one (stupid) question. If my UI resolution is 720p and I play a 1080p movie, will it be downscaled to 720p or it will played as 1080p regardless of ui resolution?

Hello my good friends
I have allready 4 month experience with my X2. Good one, but... not enough
So, my problem is tv stream in Kodi
I wait some time until was possible to connect my box with ethernet. I thought my stream problem was linked with Wifi speed.
But last week i connect my box wired. Big difference. on wifi, speed was 10-15 Mb dwl, on ethernet 90Mb
And i hope i can watch tv stream withoyt problem.
All adon/programs works ok (p2p stream, p2p sport or plexus). All the additional programs (sopcast, acestrwam engine) works ok. I set for live channel a delay of 45 seconds and change cache folder on ExtSD card.
For p2p stream i made the folder changes in data/files/userdata... I create advancesattings.xml file , put in data/userdata , recognized by addon, but without changes
And , whats happening? I start a tv stream (from p2p parse for example) prebuffer, connect to and he works ok about 5, 7 minutes, then ...paused. Not buffering, but paused. I must then press play again,. And again works for 5 minutes and... paused. Maximum live was 33 min.

Is there a solution or i have to forget watching tv stream?
