May I ask you how to implent AP6212 wifi driver in other rom without support?

I don't have access to the sdk... amlogic sucks on that mater.....
If the other rom is also a AP chip, you need the more recent driver and Fw files!

Anyway i don't understand your answer: i mean i try to insert the ap6212 driver in wetek gift (cm 11 so kitkat) in
in system\ect\wifi
Wetek rom doesn't have these files and i ported from your rom:
AP6212_nvram.txt (my wifi module)
FW_BCM43438a0.bin
FW_BCM43438a0_APSTA.bin
FW_BCM43438a0_p2p.bin

Wetek have this file different:
nvram.txt

you also need the .ko... also the kernel version should be the same on the 2...
I really cant remember what i did to fix it all(moving on to other systems and chips does that) if i do remember it again i post it!

Ok... But for ko file do you mean in lib folder? I dindn't see any libwifi.ko on your rom.
Actually i'm modding the launcher with italian voices and win 8 gui+ editing ,in the framework, the voice shutdown in restart and suspend in shutdown. I suppose that suspend function is linked to cec function. I will check it

As for cec, yes all is interlinked but you cant do much without the sdk... and the main one is the kernel!

Thank you so much superceleron..i will try to fix wetek rom to test it. Your rom works correctly but i want to see what changes in others one.
The stock launcher is horrible but light and with an integrated memory cleaner. For now i removed the icons text and ingrated in picture image. I supppose arsc file is simple to reverse but i didn't check xda. Thank you for sharing infos

i dont know why but your rom seems to have it in for me... :<

after coming back from a bricked device from trying 1.4, i went with stock rom for a while but wanted to try out 1.4b

i flashed with cwm and when its about 75% of the progress bar it jumps to complete and says reboot but the device locks up so i have to pull the power
when it reboots i see the logo etc but it goes straight back into recovery mode and thats as far as it gets :<
ive tried reinstalling but it just goes the same thing all over again

im very happy it hasnt bricked again but it hasnt installed the rom

any ideas?

Dunno m8, can be a lot of things, did you checked the md5 of the zip?
Did you try flashing with stock recovery?
Other than that nothing comes to my mind, since i tested the zips on my device and all working just fine!

got it working in the end. turns out my cwm wasnt enjoying it, not sure why?
managed to install by going back to stock and doing an update which used stock recovery

-Hi, just try to add files into wetek cm11 rom but also adding boot.img(boot error) the wifi isn't working so i belive something is absent in cyanogemod kernel.
-I have successfully installed a modded Launcher. It was easier than i suppose.
Just used winRAR,APK studio from XDA. and zipsigner (play store...because i didn't understand how to use firm function in APK studio)...but the most diffucult thing is to find high quality picture!
So now my launcher is fully translated in italian and modified: changed desktop folders in Video(Video) - Tools(Strumenti) - Settings(Impostazioni) - Apps - Wifi (all programs for wifi connections) and clean memory.
SubFolder links are editable in system\ect\shortcut.cfg
I suppose is possible also to have a direct link to store (replacing for example Video folder) just editing the source code.
->The unique thing that i didn't fix is the Weather language and auto setting. I know it's possible but it is not clear how to have weather api working at every restart whitout no needed to reinsert city name(I have to read on api web page Lzh/wang/android/apis/yweathergetter4a/WeatherInfo)
Anyway Language is in arsc file that apk studio decompile in res\values (english language)\strings.xml while the date is editable in res\values\arrays.xml

I have a suggestion for the rom: Why don't you eliminate amlogic file browser and video player? ES File Manger and MX Player work perfectly (included in your rom)..i have delete them via Titanium backup

Yes possible is the kernel... different build!
Yes changing the launcher is easy i did it on my rom, but i cant help you much on the weather problem... app's is not my "thing"!
i leaved the 2 apps because some ppl like it ... but this last rom is really my last one!
