I have problems with install gapps
With update software i select local update, select mini gapps for supercceleron 1.4, and install... My MXQ restart, make something, but no gapps.
I tried with microsd card, and with usb pendrive too...
What make i wrong?

superceleron sorry... here exact the same... Gapps installation seems to go fine, with both method, but nothing changes on the rom, at reboot android updated 55 app...where he put them??
It may be the recovery? (i'm still on stock) I've tried to install many versions of TWRP, from the relative thread, but I cant find the one for my device: EC-MK808b+ (S805 + rtl8723bs) On the terminal I see root@m201 obviously I'm using "EC-MK808B Plus(clone) 1.4"
(I do not know what's the stock rom, but I can ask to seller)
Please can you indicate the correct recovery version and install procedure? OK if you have some ROM remaining work ready for my case...

I moved on... but... OK i've found this one and tried, surprise it boot and is also the last, so I tried to reflash gapps...nothing...



I just can reinstall the rom by TWRP, i'll give a try

First install instructions

* Install it by custom recovey (cwm or twrp)
* Install by update app on the custom/stock roms....
* If the Gapps don't show after install, go to http://opengapps.org/ choose "ARM" "4.4" and "pico" download ans install it(flash it), and it should work just fine after that.

Yes thanks, installation by twrp of both rom anf gapps went well but play store say me that device is incompatible also with deropbox... It's an odyssey

Maybe I just have no luck with this rom, date and time return in 1970 after power off/reboot (tried enabling and not the automatic sync), this impact on many app...in addition to google play services/store. Reflash reflash and reflash... Ther's some other rom suitable for the wifi adapter rtl8723bs?

Picture pauses and resumes without audio+Jittery picture, and does not recover, have to stop and start.

Is it possible to patch the previous 14.2 librtmp.so, to test, recompiling Kodi 15 with Kodi 14 librtmp does not work.
(knew it wasn't going to work but I`ll try anything).

Yes i know of that problem, sadly i cant do much about it, they made changes to the internal structure of how the lib works.... so it does that on some chip/rom combination

Yes much worse on Amlogic, but also sometimes happens on my Rk3188 CS918.

Just tried latest, no change, does the same pause then resumes without audio etc..

just tried to flash this rom with twrp 2.8.1.0 - finless ...
Wiped cache, system and data befre, made a factory right after the wipe.

Now the following log shows two or three errors:

Creating symbolic links
symlink: some symlinc failed

What am I doing wrong?

Edit: Well now it is not booting anymore ... Not even in the recovery... Is there still a way to get it running again?

grab a stock img and flash it with usb burning tools in windows, or put a recovery.img and the rom zip on a fat32 sdcard and boot to recovery by using the reset button...

Hy superceleron, can you mod your rom's to playback hd audio passthrough with VidOn xbmc?
Maybe implement unrestricted VidOn xbmc from Tronsmart rom?
You can try VidOn xbmc s805 chipset can hd audio passthrough with it.
