So I did get it flashed, but everything is horribly laggy. Whenever a dialog is up, the (BT) mouse pointer updates at about 8 frames per sec. Is this normal for this ROM??.

It's not normal, but some people seem to have that problem for some reason. I suggest choosing a android 4.1 custom rom, they seem to work better.

interal storage size after update

after flash with this rom using 1080p kernel and boot, the internal storage data size was about 6Gb
when flash with 720p version, the internal storage was about 5Gb

i have the Mk808B (8Gb) model.

someone can tell me why?

I have the problem of the wallpaper reverting to default after every reboot or startup.

I tried the default launcher and apex launcher, same problem. Any chance I can fix this?

EDIT: I have fixed using settings.
EDIT 2: It keeps reverting to the default one again. OMG I've tried so many things and nothing worked so far.

I have bought two of these and the wallpaper "reverting to default" is happening to both of them.
Every time I change the wallpaper it reverts to your default one (a green one) after power off.

Can you please help me?

I'm loosing my mind over this.
And there's any way to copy the wallpaper to the system folder?
(maybe it can solve my problems)

my old TV doesn't support finless V2.1 but does support 1.7. It says "no supported mode".
Can I flash V2.1 with kernel from 1.7 ?
will it help ?

Sorry but 2.1 will not work with 1.7 kernel.

You just have to go to the HDMI settings and change it from 1080p to 720p. However since your TV does not support the 1080p mode you need to temporarly connect it to a TV which supports 1080p. Once you changed it to 720p it should also work on your old TV. It is not a kernel issue, it is just a HDMI setting which has been set to 1080p by default when you install the ROM.

But now unable to flash ANY rom... it always fails at the "checking download data" step. It always stop at 369586k... so I suspect the internal nand to be corruped.... Is there's a way to check the integrity of the internal nand flash?

First always erase IDB before flashing.
Make sure you have nothing connected to stick. (no mouse, no sdcard, nothing, just the OTG cable)

1-If you still get error try to power both otg and power cable after windows detection and check if it flashes good.
2-check if it gets really warm when flashing.

try it at your own risk. I had one with a bad nand and it was impossible to flash. Good luck.

tried every possible step to unbrick the device but still fails at flashing any rom...

now what ? is it possible to flash any rom to a SD card ?

or since it always fails around 359000 K ... could I flash a "smaller" rom ? so it fit between 0 and 358 000 k ?

Finally I flashed picuntu kernel w/ files on SD card so at least I still can use the stick. Thx for ur help.

Question, im little new here.

So, everything works. i have my mk running with your rom. BUT i dont see any of those other apps.

i only see SuperSU, reboot and the basics with 4.2.2.. did i forget anything?

Note: I used your defaut setting 720p etc etc
