Please share the trick. Phoenix suite does not detect boc. Phoenix suite will not flash my box even with Power button trick. Windows gives device a generic name. Phoenix card freezes and rom does not flash.

With the box plugged in the PC, PhoenixSuit loaded with the new firmware *.img file, in Device manager the box appears as USB Device(VID_1f3a_PID_efe8). PhoenixSuit won't recognize it.
That's the scenario... then proceed:
Ten times pressing power button in a row... 1-2-3-4 ... and so on
then plug a clip in the little hole... as there is no other button available... Allwinner ask for another button to be pressed.

It should appear "Mandatory upgrade" ... Before you plug the clip

I don't get it... so many people complaining about Kodi 14.2... why don't you all just update Kodi with 15.2? I just did an uninstall on my old kodi, and installed 15.2. No issues at all.
I did get hit by the bad image that TRIGTOP had sent out and it bricked two of my boxes. I was able to recover both of those tonight with a Type A male to male USB cord I found in a dollar store today. LOL! It was a bit tricky getting the Phoenix Suit to work, but I figured the trick out and res-erected both. Now they both have 202K4 and are humming along fine. Guess I can close my ticket with Gearbest!

That's because if it's upgraded as you said... it will loose all the special add-ons that come with the original package.(14.2).
I personally installed 15.2, which supposedly is a step forward, and I follow a procedure to load Kodi with a set of addons... I choose what is explained in www.tvaddons.org. (Kodi will be called then TVMC).
It's very tricky too... but you'll have a new Kodi, plenty of useful stuff.... and the knowledge for the next version.

Next step... of course Kodi 16.0

Installed and working fine...

I can't make the display turn into 720p60 ... in a 40 TV text appears too small far from the TV set.
It changes using the button, but in screen that's not noticeable.
No big problem anyway.

OK I am confused. I just received my box today and after a few OTA updates, is currently running on 202K4 20151024, is the 203K4 not available for OTA updating?
Also I though the 720P issue was addressed a while back, but no matter what I do, Antutu and Kodi are reporting that I am running on 720P, while in the setting is set to 1080P 60hz, please advise? Thank you.

P.S. Quickly flashed the latest 203K4 with the cable, literally took no more than 5 minutes, I chose to preserve my data in the pop up window in Phoenix, and I am a happy 1080p user! Only my eyes are complaining since is hard to read even on huge font with 48" TV 😂

Updating to 15.2 DOES NOT fix the audio passthrough drop outs or video stutter as explained earlier hence the complaints.

Is there a ROM somewhere for the Beelink X2 H3 that has NO root enabled? Looking to use All 4 and ITV player apps, and they seem to have issues with root. Thanks!

Just bought this baby a couple of weeks ago, everything was working fine until last Friday, 20-11-2015.

The red light is always ON and the power button is simply not working.

I've tried updating the Firmware via USB but I always get the same error message:

Burn firmware failed!
Please ensure the firmware file is valid and the device is working out correctly!

I'm using Windows 10 and had to manually force the driver's installation.

Tried all version os the firmware on several versions of Phoenix Suit.

I need some help please.

Does Phoenix recognizes the device when you plug it to the PC? Does the light turn blue when you plug it in?

Yes it does, but then it throws the error message Burn firmware failed at about 7%.

We all having same problem. Tried Windows 7 and 8.1...Failing at 7% .Tried 3 roms...Only way to use box is with phoenix card startup sd. Box runs off rom on sd

Product is supposed to create sd that flashes box automatically. Also fails to flash. Startup option creates bootable sd. Box runs quite well off sd and I have 29 gb internal space for apps..lol..

I tried what you said. The box turns on OK but I get stuck in the welcome animation.

What ROM did you use?

Used superceleron rom in sticky. First boot is longest due to setup . After take 1min30 to boot with a few apps installed. Once flashed sd is in just turn on box with remote and wait for setup and box to reach main screen.
