In fact now everything works except:

    - screen ratio wrong on some movies
    - i lost lot's of options in kodi under video and under audio sections.

At this point I will just update kodi with the version you just posted..

    thanks.
The new RKMC Kodi I posted will fix the aspect ratio.
You can also press 'z' on an airmouse or USB/Bluetooth keyboard to change aspect ratio easily.
I don't think it's possible on an IR remote.

If you had the same problem, what of those settings you changed brought back the sound?

Actually, in my scenario, I met two kinds of audio problems.

        1) Audio Mute.
It happened when the display refresh rate adjust to 24hz (screen become black to adjust refresh rate)
my solution: turn off -Playback - Adjust display refresh rate and its corresponding setting

        2) Audio delay
It happened when I fast-forward or rewind the video.
my solution: -System - Audio output - Keep Audio device alive - Always

I don't know why they made sense but they really did.

well my case was different, my audio was always mute...so I could not have done that.

I just am a little sorry that after changing those 3 files I lost lots of options in kodi..I don't know if they were important though.

            Hello,

            ok..

using your last Kodi everything is perfect! I can see any kind of movies, they are all fast and fluid, and all of them are transcoded correctly.

Thank you so much for all your work!

If I may request something in your next release..

            1) could you add support for the rikomagic mk902ii remote so that I don't have to reflash the rikomagic files?
            2) could you fix the missing hdmi audio for the rikomagic mk902ii so that I don't have to reflash the rikomagic files?
            3) I did not find the option "Sync playback to display"
            4) After I enabled "Pause during refresh rate change" I have noticed that audio and video and not sync anymore so i disabled it.

thank you again for your great work mo123 !!!

After being fairly disappointed with its Linux performance, I flashed a hybrid version of this to my MK902II (using RKM's bootloader and kernel, etc.) - no apparent issues, aside from a lack of CEC controls. Is there any way to get lirc running or otherwise program a universal remote? I don't have the remote that was originally packaged with the system and I'd like to program an old DirecTV remote to work with it. Barring that, I suppose I could always repurpose a PS3 controller.

                An airmouse works much better

I will give a list later of IR Remotes that might work.

Xbox and PS3 remotes should also work.

                    Hi

You can follow Ugoos's own guide here
                    http://ugoos.net/blog/rockchip-firmw...flashing-guide

The picture with the 'Upgrade' button selected, you flash the firmware until those steps.

After it boots and was flashed, you can connect it again to a PC and then flash
the following 2 files, everything is already set up, it has it's own flash tool that you use.
Then you can look at Ugoos's guide, the next picture with the green loader selected.
When you open the included flash tool, you will be at this screen then just press 'Run' to flash only kernel & resource.img
to fix the tv out, fix sound and to fix the airmouse keys repeating.
                    https://mega.nz/#!UE9DwZzB!wmNkN7C9i1C188vvSfiJe2SpTfASZjW6fE8IwyGwl4E

Then you can uninstall NTMC/RKMC Kodi and install the latest version I made here
                    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2J...ew?usp=sharing

I will make a new firmware where the new kernel, resource and RKMC Kodi is included in a single update.img that can easily be flashed from the 2nd tab of the flash tool by choosing 'Upgrade'.

                      Hi mo123

This firmware is going to work in Tronsmart R28 16G correct?
Do i have to take into consideration or check something before the upgrade? I always erase data before the upgrade and i do not use the remote (I use a Logitech K400r and Harmony remote).
I was using your kitkat 1.6 then to Wasser lollipop 3.0.4 and i would like to change to yours because i have some issues with 10bit movies.

After the upgrade i have to install the fixed kernel in order the HDMI passthrough to work?
Also the included RKMC will need to be unistalled and install the updated one?

                      Thank you for your work!
You and Wasser are the best. You really save the day many times with your roms.
                      Tronsmart support sucks.

hi mo123 , i truly don't find the right words to describe you.... your effort is unmatched. i tried your latest rom on my beelink R89. everything works (dts and Dolby in both rkmc and mxplayer, with no audio delay).... the video playback is breathtaking via rkmc with no stutter at all , but minor in mxplayer... my only issue is that whenever i rebooted the box , the colors get over saturated and the only way to fix it is to change the tv hdmi source and back (my display setting is 1080p 60hz and my tv is samsung js9500 4k led tv)...
regarding the switching-off issue for the beelink , it can easily be worked out with the flashing of the kernel and resource from other rom...
wow man , just awesome.... Thanks big time for resurrecting my beelink R89

i just tried wasser's kernel and resource images from LP 3.0.4 but unfortunately that didn't help with switching off my beelink R89... mo123 , aside from the color issue mentioned earlier , can you kindly provide kernel and source images that would help out in switching off the beelink R89 ? blessings
