Just wanted to share my experience flashing this firmware on my QBox device. The instructions say to use a toothpick to press and hold the reset button in the av port while plugging a USB cable in the port closest to the HDMI port. The USB is supposed to provide power to the device. I tried this several times to no avail.
To get this to work, I ended up having to hold down the reset button while plugging in the USB cable and the power supply into the device, in that order. Using the power supply was necessary for my device to be recognized by the flashing software on Windows 10. Turns out that GeekBuying instructions for this device make note of the fact that the power supply may be needed when flashing the device via the PC.
Hopefully this will provide assistance to those running into problems getting their device to be recognized on the PC.
One more thing. I had to adjust the temp range settings in the flashing software to avoid the flashing process crapping out after getting 97% of the way thru the process. I bumped the high value from 40 to 60 which allowed the process to complete. You probably don't need to bump it that high. Try 45 and see if that works. I didn't bother testing other values since it worked after I made my initial change to 60.
The firmware is working very nicely. Can't wait to test it out further. Much appreciated.
Good luck!

1) Un-checking and disabling the temp test in the flashing utility.
2) When trying to connect the device to the PC, it may be necessary to use the power supply to get the device to be recognized by the PC. Press and hold the reset button while plugging in the USB cable 1st and power supply cable 2nd.
Thanks for the awesome firmware!
Also, I would love to see some way to disable the led in your firmware, if possible.

here you'll find the stock launcher: http://www.fisier.ro/download?f=89b1c396286
it won't do you any good, as you'll notice it does not work properly in superceleron rom and it will eventually crash.

Man, nicely done, props for buiding your own ROM and sharing...
The thing is, i tried everything, and i can't get the USB Burning tool to recognize the QBox...
I am using Win10, downloaded the USB Burning tool you provided, unchecked the temp, toothpick, USB in inner port, power, and still nothing...
Any help?
Thanks in advance!
