OK i'm new to this media player android OS scene so I have afew more question.

1. What resolution does YouTube run at on the stock rom and if I update the YouTube app on your rom does that get rid of 1080p playback?

2. How do I know what resolution the video plays at. On my Himedia Q10 pro I can set the quality using the YouTube app but I cannot see the change resolution setting on your rom or the stock rom.

3. Is there just one mainstream YouTube app on android or are there different variants\offshoots?

4. If I choose to return to stock firmware I have the 20160610 update files which I assume I can restore via sd card recovery boot. Now the zip contains the 3 files "p200_2G-ota-20160610.zip, recovery.img and factory_update_param.aml" but to do a stock restore using the Burning tool can I use these files or do I need a single .img file of the stock rom? If so can anyone link me to it. Mine came with 20160610.

5. I chose to update the bootloader. Will my device still function If I restore to stock via files and SD recovery boot?

1º on stock rom its limited to 360p or 480p cant remember correctly... nop it should stay with the 1080p.

2º you change in the app, press the playing video with the mouse and you should see tree dots press there and it says in what res. it is and you can change in the same place. You can check my M12N rom video to see where its is ( https://youtu.be/gnE84DQiLnI )

3º Nop, there are a some variants!

4º that file is a OTA package its only to be flashed by sdcard, to use the "Burning Tool" you need the IMG one!

5º Yes, just as all bootloaders simple don't remove power(or hope that there is no power failure) to the device or the pc cable or else brick...

You really made a nice Rom,fast and smooth to handle,but i found 2 Bugs,always after reboot the Time is changed to 1.1.2015 and you can not set "Sleep to never" the Box turns out after 30 min of doing nothing.

I have GPU Problems while playing Games like DT,DT2,Unkilled.It looks like the QBox is more a Media TVBox/Music/Films.

Hi,
The 1º one is not a bug, its a feature.. since this boxes don't have RTC you need to be connected to the internet to the box get the correct time, this is AUTO, the other way you can manually set the clock... always.. so leave it connected to the NET and you should be ok.
The 2º one possible a bug need to check it.
And yes this boxes are bad for gaming a mean heavy games, but if you want a gaming box get one with the RK3288 the fastest cpu/gpu on this boxes!

Thanks for answer.The "Time" is not a Problem,but if the Box always turns out after 30min of doing nothing,is not nice.I think they forgot the Option "Never" in Sleepmode.
So i can make the QBox that i won to my Musicplayer.Maybe the GPU could a little bit overclocked.What is the "mhz" now and why they not used the 8 core GPU of 450 ???
much better !!! I already have a UT3 & UT4/it was only a small Info for others how read this Thread and want to buy one.

Does the boot logo have a set display time or is it displayed for as long as it takes to boot before the bootanimation.zip loads? Just wanna get as much of the original Q-Box animation to show. It only makes it to after the particles are blown but doesn't get to the displaying of the Q before the menu loads.

Attached is the logo screen that i'm talking about.

The boot animation that i'm using is a single picture (not animated) of the Q logo with a black background.

Anyone else with this ROM having to press the power-on button on the remote twice before it switches on. On the first press there is a brief flash of the LEDs then nothing. Only after you press ON a second time does it start. Does the same thing on both my Q-Box's. Only on the custom ROM they're fine when on stock. Also tried two different remotes with the same results.

first your Logoscreen was my Homescreen before i changed it in Settings/Display/Background /or with an Wallpaper App to choose your own Picture.
Yes sometimes if i wan't to start the Box.The Button has to be pressed full otherwise this happens.
