I replaced the stock ROM on my Mini M8S II with this ROM, about a week ago. It has performed well. Kudos prahjister. Being rooted is a priority for most of us. Kodi has a bunch of add ons. Some of which are new to me. Video and audio performance makes the box a good fit for Home Theater. It runs most 4K clips at 4k2k 60fps, but occasionally has audio with a black screen. I have this on a 4K 60hz connection to my Home Theater. I will try to determine what is common with the 4k streams that have a black screen or play with various 4k2k options.

Of the dozens of times I've installed a boot animation to a box I've never had to give any thought to permissions.

It has just worked following a basic copy and reboot.

Just saw ur post. Its over the oranth settings. Trying to theme the colors to match tvsettings. Have 2 small issues. he selector looks all distorted and has a pixel error whem compiling.

MINI M8S II here, no way to connect this device to my pc or laptop using usb male to male. After installing Burning Tool and connecting the device, it always say "Device Unplugged".

World Cup device is installed, so I can't figure why my pc can not recognize the box. Also, no new record in Device Manager.

Could I install this Ron in another way? From recovery maybe?

EDIT: I made it, just hold the reset button while connecting pc usb via cable to usb otg on the box. Nothing else connected to the box (even hdmi or power cable).

EDIT2: Great ROM! My only dream now is Netflix in HD :-)

Thanks be sure to set amcodec off and you can install MX player and use the fix from the first post to play the few kodi doesn't play well

Hi, Firstly i wanted to appreciate the work you're doing. Great work on Mod for Tanix Pro i recently installed it on my Nexbox A5 2G/16G and its working perfectly. Root is working fine too. Great ROM. The only issue i am having is that stock remote is not working. Is there any way we could get it to work again ? Any help would be much appreciated

I just loaded and tried out your new bootani....it's awesome. One issue though. at the end of the animation, it goes to a white screen for about 10s before it goes to the Android Homescreen. Any idea what is causing this or how to fix?? Great job!!

prahjister... The amcodec was on. Turning it off allowed the other 4K files to play well. Buy you a beer?

I have flashed the Mod firmware on my mini m8s ii, its awesome but one issue am having is the audio keeps going off. I have to keep rebooting the box to get the audio back. Is anyone having this issue? Any and all advice will be appreciated.

Passthrough Fix (Thank you itsmeedoofer for getting me headed in the right direction)

To use the passthrough fix. Go into android settings more settings apps privileges and turn on storage privileges. then notifications and give it priority. Launch the app and use reboot button. Give it root privileges.
From then on after rebooting wait until you hear the notification sound and see the app has received root privileges

I've performed the above steps but I don't think that the Passthrough fix is working for me. I never hear notification sound nor do I get a "root privileges notification" for Passthrough.
FYI- my root privileges notification is working because I get it for others apps I have that require root at startup.
Any ideas??

I know there is a new trwp from abdul. I have not tried it yet. But I have root. Proper root but havent installed twrp yet.

how come vendor uses 32bit OS in 64bit CPU?!!
