now to bring it back download http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...ore#post607496

you will need the update zip only which is T5ZP0006 and follow exactly post #4 http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...649#post607649
Thank u, im downloading the 06 file and will try it , hope i get the machine run again.

i get no Logo, tryed lot of times ......

In the end I copied the files to a micro-SD card and installed it from recovery mode. For those interested:
    a) copy the .zip file from the zip folder in the download to a micro SD card (or USB stick)
    b) power the T95Z down
    c) remove the power cable
    d) GENTLY push a pin/cocktail stick into the AV socket and feel for a "click" (the reset switch is hidden behind it!)
    e) insert the power while still holing the reset switch down
    f) once logo is show, remove the pin

Now i want to flash the box with Amlogic USB Burning Tool , i need the image for the box ..

    -------------------------------------------

Ok folks, i manage to flash the T5ZP0010 !!! After Bricking my device and testing with sd card and usb stick i have no success . The above to do was not working for me.
I decided to Use Amlogic USB burning Tool , you only need one file from the T95Z PLUS_S912_06012017_AndroidTVBox.eu.zip. It is the aml_upgrade_package.img .

You can all read on this side http://androidpcreview.com/how-to-us...firmware/3749/
if is not allowed to post the link, delete it ..................

You also need an Usb cabel Male to male !!!

No need just disable amcodec in kodi and you will not have anymore crashing.

further more testing about the T95Z PLUS_S912_06012017 even though it runs great in the t95u pro i am convinced that its not a t95u pro rom boot logo states t95z plus regardless in about device says
                        Device Name : T95UPRO
                        Model :T95UPRO
                        Build : T5ZP0010
and dont forget the problem with the led display as i said in the above post that screwed the led display.
But in the t95z plus it runs also very well the same firmware the rgb feature it helped a lot both models also the led display is perfect in t95z plus no bizzare characters like in the t95u pro.

                          settings>video>acceleration
                          and uncheck amcodec

                            Hi Everyone,

I bought a T95Z Plus a few days ago that came with firmware T5ZP0009 installed. That firmware doesn't have the RGB setting to force the output in that way.

As I have a 2009 Philips TV, I had to installed the firmware T5ZP0010 to avoid the annoying green/purple screens.

I installed it following the aeolous instructions in this thread (thanks for your help) and it worked like a charm. Everything is working great except for one thing. In settings I select RGB for output, instead of YUV, and it's fine. But everytime I restart/reboot the box, the configuration is set to YUV again.

I don't know why the setting is not saved. I have turned off every "auto" setting that maybe could make it to reset (auto screen resolution, HDMI CEC, etc.), but still no luck.

It also happens the same with bluetooth setting. I always turn it off, but is back on after rebooting. And that happened with the original firmware as well. The rest of settings are saved OK and persistent after reboot.

                            The android version is 6.0.1.

How could I do those settings persistent? Can anyone help me?

                            Thank you!

                                Thanks for the info @aeolous!

Yes, you're right. It's not big deal. I was just wondering if I was doing something wrong or it was a known bug.

                                Thx!
