What does the "RGB Fix in settings" do?
I have an OLD Phillips TV with the pink screen problem :/
does it let me choose "force RGB" from menus instead of modifying the following file?:
"/sys/devices/virtual/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/rgb_mode" and set the value to 1.

About OE its not my mojo, you need to wait to some one else to rls it.
But i think is strange that s912 still dont have OE, since is about the same as S905X...

erase_flash = Yes/No
erase in normal / erase in force / erase in total / forcelly erase all

erase_bootloader = Yes/No

Reboot = Yes/No

I see some people here and there claiming that those non branded units are manufactured in the same factory as the Alfawise ones so does that indicate they're exactly the same? I wish I knew.
If I did flash it and it bricked or just not function properly is there a way to return to the original rom?

Dark scenes seem too bright and not as should look like
Is there a way to restore the previous state lighting intensity?

I highly recommend the micro sd card method if you can do that. Updated a number of times today using it.

Also, wasn't huge fan of the new launcher look so I repacked it with old icons and background colours from AmlLauncher_canzone.apk. Retained the FreakTab logo of course! Great job! (The old AmlLauncher_canzone.apk would not work so did it this way). I hope this is OK superceleron. If not I will remove immediately.

Place file in system/app/AmlLauncher_lihai/ replacing the old one. Reboot.
If that doesn't work, remove original "MediaBox Launcher" using a system app uninstaller. Replace file as above. Reboot.

I installed burn tool (2.0.7) on another laptop ,test first box and it is recognized. Second box is not seen by windows=Bricked.
How to fix a "Hard Brick" on this box?

P.S. Originally when Box kinda worked.. Inserted usb key or sd card would need to be checked for errors everytime when placed into windows machine.

you may need to short the pins in the nand, search the forum and you find some info.
There are several pins to short, it changes from nand chip to nand chip... you need to find the correct ones.(i think i posted in beelink gt1 rom topic the more "known" ones)
