The box works fine for me . I installed kodi 17 and spmc . brightness is fine as is for me . mods I did was cut out the extra USB ports in the case so I have 4 working usb ports , added coolling vents top and bottom of the housing and 1/4 rubber feet to bottom of the box .

can you not adjust the brightness on the Tv screen itself ?

in windows use amlogic customization tool, the in tmp inside the app installation folder check level1, and should be there with the name recovery.PARTITION....

Now I have another question. How can I flash the bootloader.img and logo.img? TWRP doesn't let me select those partitions. Only recovery and boot.

I've flashed your boot.img which is not rooted. Doh. Now I need to work out how to re-root it.

As far as I remember someone mentioned it works if you use FTMC or SPMC but not Kodi.

On every H96 Pro+ I flash with V2, the wifi disconnects after about 50 minutes and has to manually be turned back on. In V1 the wifi disconnected if the router was reset.
