hey guys, sorry to bother ... what kind of cpu temps are you seeing in this unit?
my idle temp is around 60C, where under load (Kodi / Netflix / Youtube, etc) i am seeing temps up to 75C

I opened my box took out the mother board then drilled cooling vents in top and bottom . added 1/4 " rubber feet for better air flow and have it sitting on a notebook cooler fan 51C & 55 Cwith kodi playing .

I havenew heatsinks on order from **** that I will be installing and may transfer the mother board into another box later on

I ordered 2 sets of http://www.****.ca/itm/322111770671 & 2 packs http://www.****.ca/itm/400926157684 . I might build a new Box using foamboard from local Dollar store its great for RC planes and made a harddrive housing in the past out of it .

wwmoggy, a question about the thermal pads. Back in the day, they were proven to be quite less effective than "artic thermal paste" (silver compound) and a lot of fake paste was being sold online. Is this something better..a proven product?

I have only used pads once in pipo x7s where it was a metal case and the pads where a perfect fit between cpu and case so worked very well . what do I know is don't double up the pads

Does anyone know if this will work on the M9 Pro 4k? It appears the specs seem identical. There isn't a lot of info on this box that i can locate.

It is better not to risk it! Boxes with chips PPE09-093-DG after flash memory die !!! Check your chip.
I know many people who killed their boxes!

I see chip is PE029-125F1638
can I use this rom on my H96?

I like inform you this perfect rom run on my H96 Pro+ with chip PE029-125F1638 and now it has 4 USB ports available !!!
