Thanks, will test this. The thing is... TP-Link management software kind of... sucks, I used to run dd-wrt before, but the builds for my router are not very stable still + GUI must be installed separately hehe, but I notice that my 5G network is mode: 11/a/n/ac mixed and I have only another option 11 an/mixed.

I am running like this now:

      Wireless Radio:Enabled

      Name(SSID):velqn_5G

      Mode:11a/n/ac mixed

      Channel:Auto(Channel 36)

Will change to the other mode and test.

The thing is that even when I have 90 mbs link, I can not make more then 17, and my phone (Xiaomi mi5 goes over 50)... weird but I guess this is what the box can do w/o external antenna

Take a look at the "' .ini" file on your micro-sd and if erasebootloader=1 then yes you did erase it, but, I saw a sample file on these forums and the member had selected erase(in their sample " .ini" file and had reported success) I can't locate the reference link ... my erasebootloader=0, so not sure of your situation.
If it still manages to turn on be thankful...or try to return for repair. I'm about to contact Fasttech about this problem on my second China-box...maybe they will be helpful?

Thanks for the reply bud yes I'm thankful it knocks on as for returning it not a hope after I drilled 20+ holes in it . My wifi will not go over 10mb at all no matter what I try but I'm lucky that I have wired running as well and I get my full 250mb download.

This rom works great. Only bug i noticed is everytime I turn box on I have to manually connect wifi again as it get disabled . But hopefully there will be fix for that in next update.

BTW, I'm still having issues with space color and my old Philips TV (it also happened with the original FW). After some minutes, it turns green/pink, and I have to change inputs in TV to 'reconnect' to the correct space color.

Is there any workaround os trick to force always RGB? Maybe modifyng the amhdmitx0/rgb_mode file?

                  Regards,

I bought it am 11 Jan, and received it lat 30Jan.
I burn the img file with burn card maker, and remaned the file to "update", and works on the 1st try.

You should either open your box and physically check the chip or I recommend this from another user:

                              1) Install WiFi Analyzer app from PlayStore
                              2) Select Tools --> OUI Lookup
                              3) Enter your WiFi MAC address (get this from System Network Settings)

This will then lookup the manufacturer of the WiFi chipset, ie. AMPAK for the AP6330 or Longsys for the LTM8830.
You should get a similar result or different if another type altogether.
