Just out of curiosity Sommeman, which of the two usb ports did you use to flash image or was it one of the usb ports that are hidden within the box pictured here http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...l-wifi-and-bt?

      Heya,
I quickly played with Antutu on the three China-Boxes. First score is averaged pre-flash. Second score is best obtained post-flash
      1. The Alfawise scored between 42000-43120. PULSE chip H5007NL 1640-M/ ram chip 51x16 DDR3 1648 c6l
      2. The 2nd box between 39966-40512.
      3. The 3rd scored between 39400-40259
      4. The 4th was about 39600- Dead. Pulse chip H5007NL 1650-M/ ram chip ppe09-093 DG (chips on bottom of board were also different)

I would attribute the Alfawise generally higher score to having a different Samsung Nand and ram chips.
The Alfawise also had a unique Thumb print on the micro-sd casing and a dirty bubbled blob of(?) on one of the ram chips.

I also have the problem with the power off with the remote, was working fine before the flash.
So i think its not the remote.
Hope you find the time to correct that.

Power off and on works fine here with Superceleron rom. Even my air mouse can turn it off. But power on only works with standard remote.

im starting to think its a batch of this boxes that comes with some kind of hw problem.
It seems they used a mix of rams, i think they just grab ones laying around at the time and put in it, since my box have toshiba emmc and 2 types of ram chip... hynix and micron...
Mixing ram brands its not a good ideia...
Who let me think is a Hw problem...

I use left port of the usb, near the power port.

                  Heya,
By HW problems..do you mean something like...Plug in the box and watch the blue light and have no signal...then unplug and replug and blue light but no signal...go away and make coffee and after hmm... 2 minutes watch the box suddenly boot-up like there had never been a problem?
If that is what you men by HW problems then I have a second box(Fasttech) that is wonky, but, this has not happen every cold boot.
I see the potential of the 3g/32g combo. 3 gigs of ram makes a difference especially in Kodi/SPMC. The s912 chip seems powerful enough...just quality control is cheap-out with H96 Pro+?

This box cant stream 4K h264 movies in Kodi when amcodec enabled. Is there any way to fix it?

yes.. leave it off and use only the mediacodec's for 4k h264
                        amcodec is dead

If i leave amcodec off then video is kinda laggy when there is a smooth motion. Picture is moving smoothly, then stops for a moment, and so on.
