Yeah...i know...does that work when you test, cause it doesnt here (with several apps like Google Remote TV, Yatse etc), ...so maybe a hardware related thing..will keep testing...

Any change you will include TWRP in future ROM builds? Easier to update ROM like that instead... ;-)

Hello all, I have some questions. I received my T95Z plus box last week and have been studying from forums ever since. I already made the rookie mistake. Update to T5Z0007 while I have 9377 WIFI chip (original firmware was T5Z0031), so I lost my WIFI. Have been trying different firmwares after that and even bricked my device. Bought an usb-usb cable and got it working again. I ended up with the firmware from this topic and it is the best so far. Thanks for that MartBiOS2K!!!

          Still I have some questions:
          - when I play video on my box it is very dark, I've seen that lots of users experience this and that there is a workaround (play 4K video), is there a final solution for this? is it in this firmware version?
          - to use teamviewer QS I installed this app, when I look in the installed apps on the box I also see Teamviewer AOSP addon. How does this work and where can I launch this app? Or do I need to separately install Teamviewer QS like I did? (it is working)
          - I can't manage to control my box with the original Android TV Remote app, the app doesn't find my box. Is this even possible or does the app not work for T95Z plus box (or other S912 boxes)?

I hope I can get some answers, thanks in advance!

          Regards Stefan

Maybe i can help a little:
1-SuperCeleron seems to have fixed this according to his post: http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...n-v1-final-rom. Hopefully @MartBiOs2k can implement this in future releases... In his OP you can read about fixing the overall dark GUI, but i have not found a workaround for Kodi yet...
2-To use Teamviewer just install TeamViewer 'Host' app, you can assign it to your TeamViewer account and it will appear on your TeamViewer (on your PC for instance)
3- I have the same issue, it should work according to @MartBiOs2k so i keep on trying.

                @Stefkus

Teamviewer AOSP addon is for take control remotely of you android tv box, Install teamviewer on your pc and you should be good to connect and take controle of it. you don't have to install anything it work automaticly.
For Kodi, I did't search much to find the way to fix dark screen., I think I have not this problem. I did not really try all kodi thing.

Guys, have you try to test you wifi speed with the app I've included in my release. from my side, wifi is pretty slow on download data, I can't stream mkv from my NAS on 5GHz network.
I,ve test and can't reach more then 2mbps up and 1.6 down. and even if i'm at 5feet from router
it's pretty bad for a wifi.

i'm still hoping that a new firmware will be release for our box so I can work on it and make it more professional..

Thanks for your answers ZeroZorro and MartBiOs2k.

About Teamviewer, I uninstalled the Teamviewer QS app from my box, so only the add-on is still there. But I don't understand how to connect to the box now. With Teamviewer QS installed I got a Partner-ID and with that I could connect from my computer. What do I have to do now?

I have my box on the cable, but when I use wifi it is slow also.

And what about the Android TV Remote app, it works for you MartBiOs2k?

I can confirm this works, I had to manually add the IP of the box, but it works. Also works with Cetusplay but you have to install a server app on the box for that. Still don't get why apps like Anymote don't work at the moment.

As far as i know, you need the QS-app on your box too. What i did on a clean ROM:

                            1. Install Teamviewer Host app on Android Box
                            2. Start app, it will ask to intsall Teamviewer QS, allow
                            3. Login with your Teamviewer Username and Password and click 'Grant'
                            4. You will receive a mail to activate your device and add it to your Teamviewer list, do that
                            5. Click 'Grant' again and the Android device will instantly show up in your Teamviewer (i use version 12) on your PC
                            6. Done

I have a question: Will the manufacturer update the box in the next time? Or will there no update anymore? Maybe I'll send the box back...

I won't hold your breath, and do you know who the manufacturer is anyway? I for once didn't got a website or support information with my T95z box ;-)
