    Boot Animation Sound Level

    Hello lewy20041,

When I upload the Boot animation Sound it always
Plays full volume Not Matter what the volume control is set to ...

Is There a Way We could upload a text file with a volume Setting (ie 001%-100%)
that would be used when the Boot Animation Sound is Played ..

Thanks again for all the Good Work ...

found cause of missing 1080p mode

Thanks to http://hwswbits.blogspot.de/2013/03/...lution-in.html I found the cause of the missing 1080p mode.

My edid code looks this way:

No 1920x1080 mode in standard modes. So I get 1280x720 with DVI and nasty overscan with HDMI. However, detailed mode should be taken anyway, but this is obviously not done by the kernel.

Can someone of the kernel gurus please correct? Since this kernel is 1080 anyway, a test even would not be necessary at all. Thank you very much.

Michael, these are things you could do. Let Lewy20041 spend his time doing stuff that develops the rom rather than doing things the inexperienced user, like myself, user can easily do.

                1.2.0 installed on CS918 thanks!

                Hi Guys,

Just wanted to say thank you to Lewy20041 and everyone else who has been working on this rom. I installed it today on my CS918 I got off ****. ( sorry bought it before seeing this thread or Geekbuying, next one comes from them when they get the T42 going)

Everything went fine after manually installing driver when trying to flash ROM. Some reason Windows would never prompt to browse for driver when auto installing.

Playing well with MX and HW decoding for 720p files. 1080p hit and miss.
For some reason XBMC installer from settings menu would not download apk. Had to manually install XAF version. Hope that's the best one to be using. XBMC SMB drive mapping is working well with CIFS for pulling files from my NAS drive.

Another plus was VPN would not work on stock image. Works great now with this upgrade.
                Netflix also working good.

Stock remote working, t2 fly mouse works okay though I have to figure out how to map a back/ menu button for it so I can update my library with that device when in xbmc. Little things that have nothing to do with your rom.

Thanks very much. Keep up the excellent work. Hoping you adapt a version for the BT version when it ships.

Thanks lewy20041 for your good works.
                      I flashed the 1.2.2 on my UT1.

I can't use the IR remote and constantly reboot due to error "Unfortunately, Gallery has stopped" which I don't face it on the 1.2.0. Is this beacause of the beta version?

                      Again, apprecaite your great support.

Lewy, thanks very much for your hard work and easy to use guides. Clearly a massive upgrade on the native firmware!

Quick question on which version of XBMC you would recommend? I ran the installer from the specials section in the settings menu and this takes me to the page of the nightly builds.

                            Hi lewy,
                            I just flashed 1.2.2 on my K-R42.
The screen blurred and frozen, and then it shutdown. Both 720p and 1080p kernel.
Is there anybody has the same problem with me?

Just got the K-R42 and flashed the 1.2.2 720p and got no problems with the ROM.

This XBMC version from Minix seems to work great!

What a great box, what a great ROM!! This is SO much better than the MeLE A1000G - it's like a whole different world to use this box.

Is it possible to get a smaller mouse pointer, the arrow is quite big?

Your release notes says that an advancedsettings.xml for XBMC will be automatically installed but I don't think that is still so - otherwise they got deleted when I uninstalled one of the XBMC versions.. and how do I then get a new one?
