    Hi

there are some serious issues on last wasser kernel (24/9)

With 1080p kernel, when using 720p resolution only a quarter of the screen is displayed.

With 720p kernel, trying to adjust screen scale, only translate the screen on a diagonal but no scale.

So reverting to last stable release.

@lewy - do you think you'll be able to build a rom for the UT1/F4 with the new firmware I gave you?

From HFW v2.0.3 and above the easiest way is to use build-in tool called "flash_image".
Maybe it will work in earlier firmwares but I didn't test that.

                Procedure:
                1. Download kernel package into the box.
                2. Unpack it with ES File Explorer.
                3. Run Terminal Emulator from menu Settings.
                4. Navigate to directory where is extracted kernel image(s).
                5. Enter below command into Terminal Emulator logged as SU:

                flash_image kernel kernel.img

where kernel.img is file name of kernel image which you would like to write into NVRAM.

                  I am sorry i have 2 questions :

where is it possible to download the kernel for this device ?
with the last firmware 2.04 we have the last kernel ?

                    Ad 1. Execute command: dd if=/dev/block/mtdblock1 of=/mnt/sdcard/kernel.img
Note: you will get full content of kernel partion. Not only meanigfull part.

Ad 2. HFW 2.0.4 contains latest fully working kernel. There are some thoughts about improvements (FIXED LAN MAC, output scalling problem) but these are not quite ready.

Friends what is the version of Netfilx stable for this rom?

has anyone had any success with using audio passthrough (AC3/DTS) via HDMI or optical ? I tried all the setting options under audio settings but still XBMC doesn't recognize a passthrough device.

lewy20041, do you stopped support for the K-R42 Hybrid Firmware? If not, when will be released the new version fixes the problems that our friends found?

The following questions might help other people to reproduce/solve your problem.

What mouse are you using? Wired/Wireless/BT (oops, BT is not posibble)? and what video output? (HDMI or AV out)
Have you used any other HFW except stock (i suppose) that worked well?
Did you try a different mouse even if you're sure that the mouse is working?
Or maybe reflash the firmware in case something went wrong?
Sorry for the late response, but i am using the Tronsmart TSM01 airmouse. I will test another mouse with the device later on, but now you are saying it could be that mouse.. I never thought of that before..
I always think about hardware that it should do the work intended to do, without delays.. but ofcoarse it is a software matter to handle the rest..

I first thought it must be the firmware, but i tested the airmouse also on a new device with the original firmware, and it did the same thing with the irritating delays.. so it must be the airmouse definitly.

I will post my findings, if i still got any with some other mice!
