But that's assuming that would even be valid way to gauge interest and that the download numbers are accurate. So who knows?
As soon as I get a little more time I'll PM you.
You can always take the boot/resource/kernel from my firmware (or at least the boot/resource) and add it to whatever build you're making or putting together. If you have any questions about how something works or doesn't work, just let me know. I know some of these images are tricky compatibility wise.

Damn I was that close already last week
It's working... OC & T8C
BTW ... voice recording works with my rom with boath USB ports. tested with a USB mini mic and aLogitech USB cam.
And I saw that the following is missing in your sources. Maybe it helps.
init.rc
Code:# for usb audio chmod 0666 sysclassswitchusb_audio_playbackstate chmod 0666 sysclassswitchusb_audio_capturestate chown system system sysclassswitchusb_audio_playbackstate chown system system sysclassswitchusb_audio_capturestate

Guest flash this boot, it includes the nodes mentioned above by cOOLio , maybe his suggestion helps, and it does come from the Ugoos rom so maybe it'll do it.

Here are my thoughts about my first test results.
[ 3D Performance ]
My current V2.0 release is fast and stable. But definitely not as fast as my upcoming "Shomari OC & OTC Ready" V3.0 release. But why are these Bonsai 3D Benchmarks better with my current V2.0 release? Maybe because I updated today also my OpenGL drivers, to the same newer version, Shomari uses in his Z4 4PDA rom!? This must be tested. But as I said already before. Shomari newest release for the Z4, looks already fast and stable. Ok, stable must be still tested in long terms. But it looks already promising.
[ CPU Performance ]
Shomaris T8C is real True OctaCore, thats for sure. But his OC version looks also pretty good, even if the Little Cluster is not at 1600 GHz as he promised. But bath version are nearly a the the same speed/performance. And you can feel this speed. Nearly every click on my remote is much faster and smoother then before. But lets come back to the T8C & OC comparison. The T8C feels a bit smoother, but that is a objective comparison. But the T8C has the shutdown bug. That's definitely a win for the OC version, because it hasn't this bug.
I will start right now with longterm tests (gaming, watching movies and all this magic shit you can do with these boxes). Ohh, I've checked already my whole house, to find a 5V 3K-5K A power adapter, with the right plug. But had no success. So I will start all my test with the stock power adapter. But maybe that's the best way to start. Because that's exactly what the most of the others users have.

There has to be work to raise that performance, I think. Too low.
I never get less than 47,800 in anTuTu 6.3.3. I don't know what that Bonsai benchmark is but I'll run it on my boxes and check the results.
Still, I think some users would like the TV launcher version so it's a good option. Plus, it's good to see someone else pull for the users. I made a true octacore version of the Ugoos firmware, it's in the Ugoos thread. I didn't get a single post or mention of feedback. So I never bothered with it again, myself.
