That's another chipset altogether though, and dives deeper into private methods and it also uses an entirely new multimedia framework.

Very little of that sdk is of any use at all to us. I've actually Incorporated some of it in testing, and when it comes to video playback, it's a miss, it doesn't do much of what is stated it does - even common codecs are not properly implemented.

Speaking of, I have to upload a new update later. A few minor fixes have to be addressed concerning video. I have the update ready I just haven't uploaded it.

Working on porting native 10bit video support to RK3368. So far 720p is flawless in both Kodi and native video player.

10bit 1080p works well depending on the container, it looks like. Some files play 100% correctly, while others play but with distortion, and others not at all. I figure if we're going to be stuck in private RK api hell, might as well try and make the most out of the chipset.

Implementing new passthrough audio config for testing as well. I'll upload the updates later.

Post a link to the firmware that correctly runs your device so that I can compare the binaries and I'll probably do a version for your specific tv box. No guarantees.

Probably not. I've been running these hacks (and more) for over 6 months, no fireworks yet. (Not even at 1752Mhz with a 4.5a power supply)

I can confirm that "v2.0-March 2017 Update" works with Wifi & Bluetooth (Z4, AP6335).

But there seems to be a different issue with this ROM.
I own a Z4 Box (2Gb Ram/16Gb Flash) and it seems like either the Gpu or the Ram clock is too high for this Box.

Its definitely not the CPU clock because i tested with different clocks ...

The issue that i have is that in certain Situations i have a kind of screen color lines distortion (i know this kinds of problem from the PC when the GPU or RAM is overclocked)

Since i don't know of any possibility to change the Ram or GPU clock i have 2 questions:

1. Is it possible for Stability Test purpose to change the RAM or GPU speed via init.d script?
2. If not, is it possible to make a kernel with less aggressive RAM or GPU Timings for testing?

... nope. The clocks themselves are well within range, they're left stock, in fact. The gains in performance with GPU/DDR are not from clock adjustments, they're from backporting MM/Nougat code to LL.

I have an update coming specifically for the Z4.

The problem is the power management implementation. Z4 update will come in the next day or two and will have 100% hardware compatibility.

Good news ... the reboot bug that's been haunting me since November ... has been solved.

We'll finally be able to sleep, resume, reboot, power off the device.

One more thing... reboot shutdown and so on doesnt work... but i think you are aware of that.
