Feedback for this firmware on XDA too. Z4 Rk3368.

Hey Guys, I have a couple questions about this android box I purchased that's had me somewhat puzzled. I have been an avid android user over the past many years. I am familiar with flashing tons of roms to all the phones I have had. Except my...

Shomari the device boots but in previous version i could flash the resource you provided (resource-port.img) to get my wifi, bt and IR remote working. In this version after i flash the resource-port the box wont give any signal also the led display isnt working.

... yes, I put a note on the first post with the asterisk to denote version 2 is only for AP6255 / AP6335 for the time being. It's going to be challenging to port the new updates to the other devices due to the new firmware structure.

I may have to run separate branches, one for the AP6330 devices, etc.

The last two pictures include the my desktop after flashing the resource-port. It became cropped i think. Something changed to the resolution in your resource-port?

Hi, I tested your Rom i68/R68 with FTMC and SPMC the Dolby Digital, DD plus, DTS and DTS HD MASTER:
In the best case the sound is in stereo and otherwise there is no sound . regardless of the setting in HDMI bitstream.

Please for the next test active the gigabit port, testing will be easier.

Thank you and sorry for the time it takes but I did not have much.

                    I just tested (UPDATED - Version 2.0).

With the default player I could read DD plus, DTS, DD true HD and DTS HD.

Test with FTMC and SPMC: DD plus, DTS, DD true HD and DTS HD does not work.

The problem would not come from kodi? ...

Ps: Ethernet does not work on i68G.
I need Ethernet for more test.

                    (i68G \ Yamaha RX-V465).

There is no IEC61937 audio support in this firnware, so this is expected behavior. I'll release firmware with passthrough audio support for kodi in an upcoming release.

I forgot to add Ethernet again, sorry. I keep forgetting it because I don't use it ... bad habit of mine.

.... oh wow. Guess it'll never work on geekbox unless I specifically build for it. Thanks for testing, though.

Thanks. Yes, it's not expected to work at all, except with the supplied images (this is mentioned in the first post as part of the update).

Only AP6255/AP6335 devices supported in v2.

The i68/R68 will be getting its own update soon, no worries.

brickmojoccatz are you saying you got it to boot with v2 using the resource-port.img I made you from another firmware? Because if so, then I'll probably be able to port v2 for your device sooner.

Hi Shomari, it could not boot, it just lost signal but with blue led on. I made some pics of the mainboard. the second pic shows it used the AP6335. I have got a twrp resource img included from a friend who has the same box as me just all original. He gave me a TWRP full back up. I did manage to flash the twrp resource.emmc.win using adnroidtoolrelease.2.35 and the kernel from twrp too... hope it can be of some help... or if u need anything specific for me to do let me know, thanks again.
