i got usb a to usb cable. but i dont have 3000mah adapter, h96max only comes with 2500mah... but usb to usb are not good as hdmi in qualitywise, ?

and for your stock Power output only a new one with more / mah / than yours , best you try it first with 2500mah , if not enough 3000mah ,

this dont solve your Problems it is for sure the FW . One of the USB Ports of your box , maybe all , supports for sure 5V . It is made to use external

Devices (blue colour???) and it looks like many Boxes can use it for starting up and running too . Hope you got it now ,

Hi, I have ordered a H96 Max, too. I read a lot of wifi speed problems that the wifi speed is very low. Can someone confirm that issue
or tell us their own experience with wifi?
Is it possible to buy an additional wifi usb stick und plug in ?

you will see if Wifi is bad , if , you can make a Mod like others here ,

maybe add a external Antenna ??? Yes u can use one , must work ,

sound are off again when i moved to other movie or tv chs, and than again i forced to switch off and on again and its works fine untill i moved to other tv ch

Hi atiq33, If you are using av port or optical port of h96 max to connect to your audio receiver for better sound quality, pls remove all of that. Use only hdmi port to connect to your tv. And see if it can fix your sound problem.

If it can not fix your sound problem, you can try firmware Android 6.0 of H96 Max.

I just got an H96 Max delivered today (from Geekbuying) and it shipped with 7.1.2 Android installed...even says that on the bottom sticker.....however there is no audio output via HDMI.
No sound whatsoever.....

Everything else seems to work as far as I can tell....Netflix, Google Playstore, wiFi, YouTube HD, etc......

Wondering if I should downgrade to Android 6.0....?

so you are not a Newbie in Boxes and checked all Settings that are possible ??? did you replug the

HDMI Cable ??? I think there was another User with same Box and Bug here , not sure for 100% , but

he changed the crappy HDMI Cable with a good one and his Sound Problems where gone .

This Box really runs better if you buy a better Powersupply , other User already did that for a better

Stability , 5V/3000mah , are perfect , i think , but u can ask and read first before you do anything .

I am sure you know how to flash your Box , do you already downloaded a new Rom , you can try

the CostumRom from here , i think it runs well on your Box , but that can only answer the Owners

I flash it to 7.1 Stock rom. No Sound. I have everytime to plug hdmi Cable out and in after any changes
like Apps or Videos in YouTube or Netflix.
So I read the discussion between atiq33 an the other members here and buy a PowerSupply with 5V 3000ma.
Still the Same !? After that i flashed the Custom Rom from SC, sadly still the same issue

first to buy a new Powersupply was not wrong , it helps to make your Box stabel ,

but if you always have to replug why did you not think about a new HDMI Cable ,

with better Quality , other User helped this too .

thanks for your response.
Of course i try another Cables.
first with the hdmi cable from the box itself then with the hdmi cable from my PlayStation then at last a new/unused one
all the same. I try also all hdmi ports from my TV. The same with my PC Monitor.

I just read that SC is working now on SCV2, i hope its only a firmware problem and fix it with that.

Yes, checked it with 3 different HDMI cables including the one it shipped with...cables also work fine with other media player, cable box, etc.

See if I can dig up any other cables to try those....odd that it shipped with 7.1.2 installed from factory when I was expecting 6.0.

Looks like memo20 is having similar issues....
