Re posted and yes some apk dont work.... Maybe some day every apk work with every rom made. Heres a better thought. Ask the developer of the apk to update it to actually work in 7 not the later.

Might be related scenarios, Mx Player in XDA forums mentions HW+ (acceleration) is broken in Android 7. I can't find link at the moment...something about new restrictions and Google ...has to repair

Try installing Mx Player 1.98, with newer Mx player codec from Playstore and maybe install custom codec 1.98. I don't know if it will help your situation.

First time on this forum, can someone help me on what the TC means by USB burning tool to load the rom? I have this android box the S912 H96 Pro+ and Ive had it for 2 weeks. Was working fine until 3 days ago now it wont detect any wifi. It remembers my own wifi that is cached but wont obtain an IP. Ive selected forget network and re-added it and cleared the network cache with no luck. Is this a bug with the firmware? will this new firmware fix it? If so how do I load it to my unit? Or is there another fix that I can try on it? So far it works fine via ethernet but thats in the main living room I dont have an option for that in my room as I want to use this room since i have cable tv in the living room

Edit: Never mind I FIXED IT

OMG its the wifi antenna, it was glued smack down in the middle of the box it couldnt get a good signal strength, I removed the centre top cover case that has the log to create a gap good for venting air and I slid the wifi antenna outside it and it detects wifi and connects now

Greetings from Japan!! this is my first comment in the forum so first than all thanks to the testers , the Moderators and of course to the great developers who provide us with awesome firmware.
I have a couple of questions after reading almost the entire threat and searching for an answer before making this questions.
recently I purchased an H96 pro plus 3/32 . at the moment I got it had a 7.1.2 /NHG47L//20170826 and was not able to do much testing because right away I installed SU and it started an never ending loop ( I know it was my fail because i did not research before playing around lol) lesson learned and after recovering by installing the stock room provided by the seller now it runs with 7.1.2 /NHG47L//20170809 and here are my questions.

1- is my Amlogic/q9377/q9377 the same as the described here as 9377 wifi chipset? I know seems the same but I am double checking to avoid furthers mistakes.
2- after downloading the scv4 and scv6 i was able to mount the 4 in the USB burning tool I noticed that no information was showed in the Key and Available sections of the Usb burning tool ... is there any conflict if i start the process like that? my question is because during the process of fixing the loop I saw a description like Key-mac and Available - 598 as I said just double checking .
3- is there any special check or unchecked in the process while flashing or the normal erase ( erase flash -erase bootloader) would do it just fine?

I have a bug, whenever an application has to reboot the box for a flash/update , it shuts down the box completely, so I can never trigger an ota the normal way
if I choose shutdown from any app it goes in sleep .. any file to change or to mod to revert to normal operation ?

That happens to me before with other box! I fixed by flashing again to stop and update to the new firmware.

i really dont know if that work, try it... the max it could do if you need to flash the box again lol
about launcher... see the settings and them more setting and is in apps press the 3 dots(or ir cogwell i cant remember now lol) and is there!

I tried to install this dolby atmos, but was not possible, got error during install with TWRP. Then it needed a long time to reboot in system, i already got a heat shock, but finally started and everything ok.

it´s a pitty, because with dolby atmos we could use the box for good music sounds, perhaps you can integrate the module into the next version???

Did you install Dolby Atmos, just through TWRP, or did you use a Magisk module? Magisk also has a Audio Modifier Module,which, then you can install one or more mods like: Viper or Dolby or other sound modules...through Magisk/TWRP.

Welcome to the family

1.Should be the same, pictures are posted in this forum of other boxes(can't really see yours from here)
2.&3. When firmware(SCV4) is loaded in USB Burn Tool, select >Erase Flash and > Erase boot Loader. I believe superceleron's firmware has key embedded. Just a note, sometimes USB Burn Tool will start up with
several boxes ticked...start up again or just select the two mentioned boxes.

How do i access TWRP? I want to flash Magisk and gain root but none of the reboot apps seem to work ;/ is there any other way to access TWRP?
