Can we get that added in the next Update

Well it's a 'workaround' as i said....
you have to manually add this code per app... the packages.xml contain all system and user app listed in and their own policy for each one, yea one by one....
so impossible to add this coode in a future update but maybe i got another workaround.

adding thi code to the default-permissions.xml should maybe grant a system wide access to the storage.... but unsecure and untested :P
That should be for security reasons the Superceleron doesn't put this code for a system wide access

Will need Superceleron to answer this question and teach us some basic coding btw :P

Crap stuck in boot animation after adding it

Where did you add this code ???? you must open your packages.xml and find the app you want to add this privilege....

THAT'S IT :P i unplug the power cord to hard reboot 3 times and no boot loop.... no problem and i got access to my storage from my pc to the icecold ftp server ultimate app

maybe you did a mistake or your box was already awaiting you on the reboot to give you a bootloop :P

Well... that default behavior since 6, and with 7 become even more secure but... the app dev needs to add support for that in their app.
So that means the app should ask the system for the permission and the system then asks you if you want to give permission, Is that simple!
I wont change that since i agree with google on that, open the system to every app is a big no no in my book!

I have a extra Bluetooth xiaomi mi tv remote with built in microphone and a PS3 Bluetooth blue ray remote
will either of these work on this custom rom
will the microphone on the Bluetooth remote work for voice ??

Ok since i got some free time this weekend i made some fixes to the rom...

Fixed widgets crashing settings on Nova launcher and others
Changed to default webview from AOSP to google one!
Some fixes to the streaming apps that stop giving HD ( I cant test the apps that i dont have and i never will have, but the ones that i tested worked ok... so...)
Other little stuff and some tidy up of some services, that made the temp a bit more stable and lower it a bit... at least on my box!

For now is that above... im still tinking if i will add dolby atmos...

I have CSA93 box, i tested the rom on it, it works very well, this box has a small display for displaying the time, bluetooth connectivity state..., everything worked fine except that display, it always displays "boot", i checked the stock rom, i found a small app that controls it called led_display_amlogic, which is not included in this custom rom, i tried to put it in system/app-prive but it crashes when the device boots, i attached the app and it odex file, are there any modifications needed to it to work with this rom?, thanks.
