is there a autohide system bar feature?
if not, could you please add it
i want to unroot the stick for certain apps and all 3rd party apps neet root for it

tried that one allready, it needs root acces, and as stated above, i want to unroot the stick because of some apps

Just noticed that apart from the recovery image, also the boot image can not be flashed with RKAndroidTool when using the HFW rom.

Went back to v1.2.1 for now as I couldn't get 100% rid of random reboots with v2.0.3. There was no clear pattern to the reboots and the logs revealed nothing so I rolled back to v1.2.1 which has always been rock solid for me, even with heavily oc'd kernels.

I bought the T428 in early May and since then I have tested n+1 kernels and ROMs on it. As of now the following combination represents the epitome of Android miniPC capability for media playback for me (stability, compatibility and performance in perfect balance):

• MK908/T428 Hybrid Firmware (HFW) 1.2.1
• kernel_molle_20130924_t428_1080p_cpu1800h_ddr720_g pu600_vsfsam
• xbmc-20130714-6ec63cd-adddroidlibstagefright-armeabi-v7a

The only thing I miss from v2.0.3 is the HDMI passthrough of multi-channel soundtracks. Otherwise I'd have no problems freezing my base system to the current level.

I have no doubts you'll be able to conjure miracles with the new ROM. Hopefully you'll be able live up to the challenge, unlike Strauzo who seems to have dropped the ball w/r/t the nexus rom for T428 (which used to be my favourite ROM prior to HFW 1.2.1)

Hi all, for me, the android dongles are just for smart TV (for MEDIA PLAYER 1080p used BOX ANDROID ).

with my Tronsmart T428, best ROM for me is ( T428_HFW_1.2.0_Final_720p ) :

News version "ANTUTU BENCHMARK X EDITOR" = 20391


SKYPE TV = OK ( video and micro )

Streaming video in 720p = perfect

Wifi display ( airplay ) = ok ( with galaxy note II android 4.2, V. OMEGA )

voice command with "Angie-Beta-Assistant-Vocal-Fr-1.0.7.apk" = perfect

Media player (720p), radio internet, audio player, game, XBMC, Replay ...


This is a little PC, in your ( SMART TV ).

I tried many ROMs and combination with kernel, but for me it works 100% is the ROM :

For Lewis, I tested the latest kernel of phjanderson with the Tronsmart T428 :

The Rom works well, no reboot, video ok, ..., but it is still in beta "ex: the camera does not function ...".

is what you go create a new ROM with the kernel of phanderson ( 09-21-2013 ) ?

I can't seem to unpack your image with imgrepack so I can't do a repack with the changes needed to make it work with the V3
I had 1.2.1 working on my V3 ages ago all you really need todo is throw the correct moduals in it and use the patched kernel I posted a a few days ago and it should be good
