nfs not ntfs.
if kernel dont have nfs support it loads nfs modules from my firmware but if
nfs modules are implemented in the kernel my modules will not insmod.
and i can see that my modules are not insmoded at bot then thats can mean they are in the kernel or kernel its not compatible.
thats why im asking if any one can mount nfs share with this kernels.
i dont have t428 so ethernet and wifi is not working for me so i cant test.

Behaves the same for me - refuses to boot. I see the Lewy / Geekbuying logo and then it either reboots direct or I see a screen corruption and then it reboots.

I can't as I have a Measy U4B (and a u4k!) which is build equiv to the T428 apart from it has no switch or hole to force update mode so I can only flash a 'full" ROM using mask rom mode

Perhaps you could package up the kernel suggested by moulin?

to see if I could use only with "kernel_t428_phja_20130802_vsf_ocl_720".

Now the boot is correct, +/- 30 sec

Boot Recovery = OK

WIFI = OK

bluetooth = OK

LAN (RJ45) = OK

Score antutu in landscape = 20623 ( for me is a new record ), 4x1800 MHz in kernel 720

I noticed that the clock frequency is,


Max Clock: 1.8 GHz

min clock: 312 MHz

MXPro, BsPlayer ( in SDcard EXT ) = ok

video player natif = problem ( bizard )

video streaming ( youtube ) 1080p = OK

After 1 hours 30 Min of use the Tronsmart T428 :


no bug, no reboot, until now,... no break wifi


the Tronsmart T428 is not hot ( normal)

I have to say, I do not resolve problems , I have nothing optimize, just remove the switch resolution,

and put the "kernel_t428_phja_20130802_vsf_ocl_720", I'm not developer.

The thing is, these older kernels are not optimised (do not have Sam321's fix in) and so will perform worse at 1080p. It is very odd that we get this 'rejection' of the ROM with the 'better' kernels.

I note that "Molle" has generated his own kernel recently that he is running with your last ROM (v. 1.2.1) without problems. Perhaps this is worth a test too?

Again my apologies that I cannot just try a kernel and am reliant on your builds

the thing is that this firmware should have playback fixed without the need of vsync fixed kernels
so please give it a try and post back.
