Flash the IMG with "Restore".
Let it boot into the home screen. Wait a few minutes.
Flash the Kernel only (not the bootloader).

I have a Measy U4B (RK3188 + AP6330which appears to be equivalent to a T428 in everything but maybe here is where there is a difference.

I can put the device into 'upgrade' mode (physically short two pins of the NAND as there is no switch on this one) and restore is okay. However, I have to power down/up again to force 'upgrade' mode. When I use 1.37 to flash just the kernel I get a message "MaskROM device must use loader"

I guess I will have to wait until lewy releases a pre-packed 1080p version

Can you flash a compatible bootloader after you flash the kernel?

That is the process I'm following - however it appears Masked ROM mode is different to 'normal' flash mode

Installed 1.2.1 on MK908

This was the first ROM I've tried with tun.ko so OpenVPN worked

Netflix is still flaky however. When first installed, it played back content successfully the first time. After closing the app, coming back to it, on every subsequent attempt it jumps back to the selection screen shortly after it tries to start playback.

Lewy - Any improvements that will make the Netflix app work better in 2.0.2?

v1.2.0 runs almost perfect on my CX-919. There are two small mistakes though:

I can't get Flash Player working in this rom. Flash works great using Neomode's rom but no matter which flash version I try, it doesn't work here. Which version are you guys using?

Second problem is that widgets don't work at all. Neither the included nor downloaded ones.

Other than that, this rom runs surprisingly well on my CX-919 and it's the only one which supports my Logitech webcam.

Which version of the rom are you using (Mk908,t428?) and what kernel?

Can you specify in the first post description, which 1080p kernel is used in new version as default?
