amcodec was removed in nougat and that allowed for hardwaredecoding all the way up to android 6.0 .... it was removed because they went by android standards in nougat builds and now it uses the default codecs ... but why we want it back is to give us automatic switching in kodi for refresh rate and resolution switching .... so its all based off preference personal i love auto refresh rate working as it gives smoother playback

Just installed Vorke Z6 latest fw, and then discovered that 3D Antutu is not supported (passed) and general score withour 3d around 24000.

Then installed 707 GT1 firmware (my model is G912 with wifi 9377) and everything passed in Antutu with 3D also, the result is:

So it seems that Z6 FW less optimized for GT1 Ultimate than 707.

What is your antutu score now? Does it feel slower or pretty much the same? And how hard can it be to duplicate this for our wifi chip and if I dont use wifi I can use this right?

Is this activated in kodi by default or do I have to do something?

you have to use spmc .... as regular kodi doesnt have support for amcodec.... you have to enable expert mode and go under player settings.... and yes very fast ..... No problems at all .... theres spmc krypton alpha 2 which works amazing ... i have 4k tv and when i play 4k movies not a single lag or anything colours are good ....

I haven't used spmc only because it was still in jarvis but I might try the alpha if you say its good. I just hate spmc icon tho, doens't look good

One more question. Do you have an advanced settings file you use on your box? I have some weird problems that I get buffering stuck at 0% and got to pause and play. Its perfect on my computer

All my games work just as well on z6 firmware it's just 3d antutu won't even open and I'm sure it's wasent like that on the older version
