When streaming or playing a video file, it always tries to "auto source search" and my screen blanks out for 5 seconds before the video starts playing. What is the way to fix that? Stock beelink Android didn't do that.

        • M8S Pro framework fixed the Action Bar bug in Android TV, as well as the More Settings crash in Android TV.
        • Added additional option (Sleep) to global action menu that displays when you press and hold the Power button.
        • Fixed Bluetooth audio stuttering problem. (Have confirmed on QCA9377 wireless chipset, but not AP6255.)
        • Fixed issue with external storage not showing up in some applications.
        • A new set of OEM-specific options are available in Settings, particularly with Display and Dolby/DTS features in Sound.
        • Removed attempt to launch voice assist on Back button long press. (Only valid for watches)
        • Added support for all HID devices (e.g. remotes, gamepads, etc.) on latest Nougat firmware for Nexus Player, NVIDIA Shield TV & Xiamoi Mi Box
        • The Terminal app now shows only after being enabled in Settings->Developer Options.
        • Releasing as OTA updates (.zip file) as well as Amlogic burn packages (.img file)
        • Latest build from Open GApps (20171108)
        Known Bugs:
        • I'm occasionally seeing a stutter in UI animations, but it fortunately doesn't seem to affect video playback.
        • Google Cast service broadcasts and is discoverable from mobile devices, but sometimes quits unexpectedly when connected.
        • If holding reset button to boot to recovery, release after 10 seconds and then wait for almost a minute. It will eventually get there.
        Download:
After updating with the ota zip, my alfawise box has a build version of 7.1.2NHG47L20170815 test keys, is that the very latest version please?

Yes, for now. I'm working on one based on the new TX9 Pro firmware that I'll post soon. (Kinda bummed I didn't see this new ROM posted before updating here over the weekend.)

I installed the new OTA version (20171108) on my GT1 A912 and I confirm that bluetooth is not working on A912 version (doesn't turn on).
For me, wifi is working good.
Hi Magendanz, ok to try it if it can't brick my GT1

I can't guarantee it, of course, but I will first have tested any new ROM on my QCA9377 box.

I don't know if any of the previous issues from the TX8 beta firmware are present but it's a new box that launched with Android 7.1.2 and is on sale now so it's firmware is at least out of beta. Hopefully that means some of the bugs are fixed.
Guest this is the link for the TX9 Pro firmware. Any idea if we can use your rom on this box since it was previously based on the Tanix TX8?

The bootloader is incompatible, but I'm in the process of pulling in most other elements.

Sorry, I ran into the Bluetooth audio problem again on the TX9 Pro firmware, but it seems to be something I'm doing because I can't reproduce on the unaltered OEM ROM. Unfortunately, I'm catching a flight to Boston for the weekend in a couple of hours, so this may have to wait until Tuesday.

            If you're curious, here's what I've got now: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AoqocX31ecnXgadQffOyv0_xnzmy4w

No idea as it's just one of my many devices. I'm using a Shield as my daily driver but if you let me know exactly what it is you want me to check I can plug it in and check for you.

I just found that the TX9 Pro hides More Settings on ATV. If that's "working", then it's a different definition than I expected.

So, my conclusion is that the Tanix ROMs don't yet have the Action Bar fix. I'm checking the Vorke Z6 now.

Magendanz thanks, will give that a miss then. would be good if we knew the source changes that fixed it in M8S PRO

Agreed. I'd settle for knowing which file so that I could bring the fix over in smali.

                  @CHARLUS60 After reading this :

I believe Beelink GT1 is the WORST CRAP S912 box.
For S905X : MIBOX3 (MDZ-16-AB) the best Android TV Box.
For S912 : Minix NEO U9-H the best Android TV Box.

                    Hi Magendanz,

I have a Mecool KM8 P box in which I have installed this rom. All seems to be working ok, except for Ethernet. I did try your rom for the Mecool m8s pro as well, for which Ethernet did work but Wifi did not (9082c Wifi drivers are missing).

Is there a way to enable ethernet in this rom?
