    Hi everybody.

I'm using this ROM since I bought my Sunvell T95R PRO box and I'm loving it. My only issue is that some of the videos (not all of them) have strange artifacts. This happens in all of the players (Kodi, Archos, MXPlayer, VLC) that I'm using in this Android BOX. Testing the same videos in my other Android Box (Mini MS8II S905X) the artifacts are not displayed.

Is someone else experiencing the same issue? Is this a S912 issue?

    Thank you for your help.

    Best regards,

    Eduardo

Guest so you're not using the TX9 Pro base anymore is that correct? I was really looking forward to having your rom on that box ....

Actually, I'm working on a new release based on the TX9 Pro OEM firmware (a.k.a. Shiningworth All-in-One ROM). In fact, if you look back a page or two, you'll see that I posted a prerelease before taking off to Boston over the weekend.

Guest so it should work on the TX9 Pro right? I'll wait for the proper release in that case ... thanks for your hard work

Not sure what was going on with OneDrive, but I just tried from my wife's account and was able to download.

I think I have the same issue (using ROM v20170825 on a GT1 Ultimate). On some videos (4/3 animation, 720p) I got artifacts like the ones you can see when there are transmission errors in a video stream. And I have them whatever player I use (Kodi, MX player, VLC) but of cours only when hardware decoding is enabled (software decoding is ok). Unfortunately, I have no recollection of having tested those videos when I was still on the GT1 stock rom, so I can't say if it is a hardware or driver issue.

For your pre-release, I like it it seems very smooth. Only did limited testing though so far.
Has some sort of issues with the play store/google account though, It works but a bit buggy on first boot. (Yes I assume, it will be fixed in real release)

During setup, it asks you to sign in to google account. Once logged in it hung for a very long time probably close to 2 minutes. (In logging in) / this has never happened to me before.
and then went to a black screen. kept pressing random buttons on the remote and finally got out and continued on. After which nothing would download from playstore, or search propertly, it was trying to restore an app so it was connected. Resettings fixed it though.

Does anyone use gamestream with this rom ?! How is latency? in the official version of the ultimate gt1 I have more than 100ms!

On android 6 rom have 30ms

                Can someone test ?

                thanks

Guest OneDrive was apparently down for a bit. It said that the file was deleted, and then that the servers were unavailable.

Anyway, I tested the ROM and I noticed a few things compared to the previous one. I know that your work on it is not over, and you may already know all of this, but just so you know :

                  - Opening Bluetooth options is crashing the settings app. We can apprently enable or disable Bluetooth using the notifications drawer but no device can be seen
                  - Speaking of notifications drawer, it was not present in the previous version of the ROM
                  - We no longer can open the full settings app from the LeanBack settings, the option is not present in the list
                  - There is a HOME icon which opens an activity allowing us to choose our launcher, it's pretty much useless
                  - The "About the phone" in settings is also crashing the app, therefore I was not able to enable ADB to see the crash logs

The next release (which should be posted later today) will include a cleaned up version of the Amlogic stock system update app which you'll access from Settings->About->System update. You'll also be able to access Backup & Restore operations from there.
