In the 1st one, it's clearly shown that the image used was a original stock firmware for the X96 Mini. This is what I meant when I said that you can only use an (.img) signed by the manufacturer themselves to flash the targetted box. The aml_upgrade_package.img is an official X96 Mini image which is SIGNED so of course it'll flashed properly.Try using the Tanix image instead and you'll break your box almost immediately after flashing.
In the 2nd link the Viet user is showing off a ATV version of a ROM but look carefull and you'll see the board he's using is NOT a X96 Mini. The X96 Mini does not have blue colored LED on the right hand side on the front panel. Logic will immediately tell you that's not a X96 Mini.
That is also not a X96 Mini controller shown in the video, it is from some other higher end box with an ATV(Android TV) rom.
So your point is???

Download amlogic burn card dool on your pc then open the software put the sdcard on the card reader and load the firmware to the burncaed tool becouse you alredy tried to do witn the usb method probably you got no bootloader but just for peace of mind see if your x96mini boots up, if it does untick the erase bootloader option, but ir your box do not boot tick the erase bootkoader option there is option to reboot when finish preas that one and press to make the card, when the soft prompts you that is successfull just place the card to your box wile power is off press the pin inside the av port on the rear of the box at the same time connect the power cable blue light should come up and you will see a green android on screen below a bar you can release the pin now, the bar will be growing green wait for it to finish it may take a wille, when it starts too boot wait it will take so 7 to 15 minutes to first boot other boots after the first one are much faster, now there is another android tv rom that is functional and itmay be better than this one https://mega.nz/#!nN5XTLAS!GrJBSPpnG...IHAACmegWJlodE i've been playing with it for a few days and its good you can find the thread http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...-roms-tools-bx let meknow if you got it ok, good luck
