The problem could be in twrp. Maybe we can try replace recovery.img (twrp) with the standard One and rebuild?

Hi guys. Today I will be receiving my Mecool M8s Pro W and I would like to make a backup to have how to recover the firmware if it gives a problem together with the bootloader, anyway ... everything possible to be able to recover later. How can I do it?

New OTA I did not try... I am afraid that it will overwrite TV Stock Nexus ROM... with normal Stock ROM...

o.O I already want to try that rom.
The stock rom goes a little slow and sometimes kodi freezes the box completely to the point that I must unplug it

I would like to Know how to backup this Rom, bootloader for backup if necessary.

I tryed to unpack and repack the "recovery" .img named m8s PLUS with changed product name, but it fail to repack. Someone can try to do this using Amlogic Customization Tool?

I unpacked and repacked the recovery with changed model name, now appear as correct M8S Pro W, you can download that here:

After flashed this trough USB Burning Tool you can update with M8S_PRO_W-ota-20180802.182556.V0213.zip which is Android TV!!!!
