Canal Digital is a cable TV provider in Norway. They launched a tv box (DVB-S) 6 months ago or so. It has all DRM certifications needed, but Netflix isn't working. They have been saying since Christmas that they think they'll get a deal. Google cast works, but not the Netflix app, and not casting Netflix. It is a shame. I would be skeptical about this box if you need 4K Netflix. I don't care that much since my Samsung Tizen plays Netflix great, but to those who need it; think about it twice.

The pertinent question here is if Mecool the company can get their M8S Pro L to play netflix on HD, why can't they simply do what they did on this particular box?Comment

That would be what your needs are. IF you NEED Chromecasting, then, yes it would be better than the "L". IF they can provide Netflix in 4k, then YES, it would be better than the "L". Otherwise probably NOT. There may be other benefits, but not sure what. Or for some, if it supports Amazon Prime streaming media.Originally posted by Robbynaish View Post
