I can't even flash mine. Even with upgraded USB cable.

It is very easy to swap firmware's on my KM9, but there are NO good firmware's for this box, at this time........

I use USB Burning Tool version 2.1.7.0 and connected through a POWERED USB hub, instead of directly a USB port on my computer. I guess you know the reset button is in the AV hole. Out of all my boxes, this is one of the easiest to get recognized by my computer.

IMHO, the KM8 is a much better box at this time, since I can install apps that won't install on the KM9. Plus, with the KM8, there are LibreELEC and CoreELEC ports, have not looked for Linux ports for the KM8.

The KM9 came with the Bluetooth Voice remote, but it keeps losing the Bluetooth connection. I have to re-pair it almost every time I try to use this box, which is not often.

My KM9 with ugly launcher has WiFI problem, since few days. It's problematic as i mainly use it for IPTV.

My internet box (Orange Livebox) has 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz.

With 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, i have WiFi freezes on IPTV shows, infinite loop, then randomly restart, then restop, etc... Probably every 10 sec.

I stopped 5Ghz, problems persists. S KM9 has WiFI known probles with 2.4Ghz band ?

I can't use only 5Ghz because i have numerous other devices on this internet box, and few don't have 5Ghz band.

So, what can i do ? Reset and wipe everything ?

Same thing, 960x540, and only mouse control....... I have tried 8 different versions that I have saved, but none worked.......

Did some tests today myself to confirm what is being said in here about netflix on this box. The truth is that netflix CAN run on this box but at limited resolution.

I downloaded from apkmirror some of the black backrgound-red logo versions which are for tables-phones and they successfully played content. It is not the best experience ever since the black backrgound-red logo apps are designed for touch control and we have a remote control, so a mouse or a air remote is necessary to plug into usb to control the app. Through the latest app I could see the movies and tv shows I played at 720p or some of them at 540p. The strange thing is that I could see "Polar" at 1080p! I don't know the role of the DRM level to the quality of the stream but seems that some movies have different security requirements and can play L1 content with higher resolution and some with lower. Quite strange...
The white background-red letter versions (ATV versions) did not open at all and they produced a -100 error (that they could not find a proper network or something).

All of the above were tried with the stock firmware which I think it is 201809011.

Can't wake it up from sleep mode, have to unplug and reboot, remote doesn't function properly (can't highlight all the menu tabs, and have to use a mouse)
wifi randomly disconnects, and Smart iptv channel guide doesn't function. plus the launcher is ugly!

This box is total trash.
It's a pain in the ahs to install apps from USB.
And installing apps from file linked is darn too slow.

I didn't have any issues installing from usb or Filelinked, pretty fast!
getting them to run properly? that's another matter.

this box rom have issues. try magendanz nexus roms. work well.. i asked to aliexpress seller, will a new rom come? they answer we dont know.

Help!! Tried installing Magendanz's ATV ROM using USB Burning ROM 2.1.6, program stuck at 67%, tried 3 times, now won't power on, no light, nothing.

Tried again, have blue light when plugged into pc via usb, ran the Burner, now only gets to 3% and a 'Romcode/B12_Boot stage error.' tried different configurations, no joy!

These u211 reference boards have really weak USB signals, and I've found that transfers with the Worldcup drivers would only work with a heavy duty braided USB cable with a ferrite core. Here's what I use: https://www.gearbest.com/cables-conn...298937892.html
