Well the TWRP is a nice addon, but the status bar has always been messed up, might give this a try

Hi all!
I have updated XTMOD-ATV on my x96max 4\64 from V3 to V4 and /vendor/bin/preinstall.sh does not work any more.
I added to this script some commands see below but they don't process...
chmod 666 /sys/class/display/mode
echo 0 > /sys/module/di/parameters/nr2
echo fix > /sys/power/wake_lock

And HDMI CEC also does not work on V4.

Does anyone know how to fix it in new version of the firmware?

You can use Magisk autostart (init.d-like) place: /data/adb/service.d. Just put your script(s) there.
