Hi,

superrepo is installed in this version, so you can add 1channel.
I have just tested this addon for the first time and it is working for me,
sometimes i get a script error or file not found, but i think this is normal
when websites or files are moved or deleted.

Just looking supernatural in very good quality learning english...

Thank you for the information. Seems like this little box will do. I have a couple openelec htpcs for heavier duty stuff. Just wanted something a bit faster than my pivos xios.

ouya plugin?

Hi again Lewy this idea you mention on xda forum and in parts here about an ouya plugin,what do you mean by a plugin? Do you mean an xbmc plugin as if so where can we get hold of it please mate? The current release of custom ouya launcher i find online is down permenantly by the look of it as it still gives the script error all the time now hence why i never got it running again until today i have tried baxy in this firmware v1.1.0 and v1.1.1 i think it was but neither let it work unless it is because i installed just a .apk of it? Tried it in the hfw didn't run either so my guess it is for an ouya os litteraly?

I also agree that i do not see the ouya switch feature included in the newest v1.1.1 release,there was a prior comment about a ouya plugin for the next firmwares,i have asked previously what in laymans is a plugin unless it is an addon plugin for xbmc itself within the firmware Lewy20041 means???

Cheers for looking into it Lewy,also absolutely awesome job on the new just xbmc firmware, it now installs and runs 100% glitch free for me on my unit. And if it had ouya on it that worked it would make probably the best android firmware that has ever existed so far, bar none what so ever.Sorry for the miss spelt title though it was supposed to say cheers lol.

SLEEP IS WORKING,BUT....

after I flashed my k-r 42, on "justxbmc", I forgot to turn off the usb cable from the computer ,and saw a very interesting behavior of the k-r42 : when it is connected to a computer via usb, then sleep is working well and usb ports do not fall off , but if you disable the usb cable and everything is as before : automatic switch without working usb ports

I recorded a video to show all clearly

maybe it will help to correct the problem with usb ports and sleep

Hi lewy2004 , i tried the just xbmc build and found a problem with 1080p kernel.
In 720p kernel i can play high bitrate 1080p videos up to 30G.B. size with no problem
(USB playback) , But using 1080p kernel i can't even play 8G.B. movies.

By logic the 1080p kernel should be better than 720p because reading the video files
Consists of 2 steps : video decoding and displaying the decoded frames on the screen
The first step is resolution independant and the second one will be better on an
1080p kernel as the frames will be displayed as they are without scaling while in
720p kernel they will have to be scalled down to 720p resolution.

Also i tested mx player HW+ acceleration mode which i beleive uses the same libstagefright
That xbmc uses and it can still decode 30G.B. files on both 720p and 1080 kernels.

So based on the above i think that the HW acceleration is not working on 1080p kernels.
(Please correct me if i am wrong).

Movie Thumbnails and skin background disappear

I installed justxbmc 1.1.1, and restore my backup of xbmc done under justxbmc 1.0.3 as explained by levvy.
Everything works great except that after switching from one movie to others, xbmc doesn't render anymore any movie thumbnails, neither screen background images.
I tried different skins but it's still the same. Scaning of the library, or scaning for new content doesn't change anything.
The only way I found to make it work again is to reboot.

I must precide that I also switched resolution to 720P in Android settings in the advanced menu section.

Do you think that I wont' have this bug if I reinstall the firmware but without doing the xbmc restore process ?
Any other idea ?

v1.1.0 when I pressed power off on my generic air mouse the shut down menu would appear, v1.1.1 nothing happens when same button is pressed

question from the average user:
Right now i'm using lewy android 2.0.4 ROM .
I'm considering try this frimeware cause most of the use of the device is XBMC.
my question are-
is it possible to install apps from the app store?
external players already included in the frimware?
and finally- for a user who's not so good with computer language and codes, you recommand this rom?
