and when it come to smb/nfs i always encourage people to use automount script in
/etc/init.d/ folder there are two scripts first is 97SMB and other 98NFS.
just edit the scripts, change ip for your shares there, and chenge permisions to 755 "rwx r-x r-x"
and reboot the device
your shares will be automaticly mounted in /mnt/Samba... etc
also you can acces them easly thru xbmc->video->files

Managed to use the init.d approach and get the samba shares working again nicely. Have been testing a few videos and it hasn't crashed yet.

One big improvement I noticed - I can have a movie playing in the background and bring up and down the menu, back to movie, etc. and it is all nice and smooth. Previously the video could go all pixelated and strange when I did too much on the UI.

lewy20041, thank you for good job!!! In XBMC only problem with the video stream in HD-channels from Dreambox 800hd (*.ts) with VU+ / Enigma2 Client Another problem with HD-channels from Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4HeKFy2U8k)

As to XBMC and TV Streams try to play with video options in XBMC settings.
Some times it can fix issues like this.

It was the same on your prevoius version, and I was hoping it would be better in the new one.

I have not tried Netflix on any other ROM for X7, but it works great on my other Android devices (Imito QX1, SG TabPRO, SGS4, etc...)

Is it ROM related, or generally the same problems on all X7 devices?
I did google it, but no results matching my problem on an X7/RK3188...

xbmc is used as a launcher, and autohide dont work with the launcher.
please desable the autohide for now, in couple days i will upload xbmc witch is not used as a launcher and then you will be able to download it from first post and install on your device.

Thanks for the great rom. I've been using your 1.30 rom. I just upgraded to 1.35 last week. One thing i realize that when i click on HD Release or Most View Icon on Mashup, it doesn't work. I got Server down error, I tried to apply the fix in Mashup for server down error, still no good. I reflashed to 1.30, it works again. Then I tried to reflash to 1.35 again, and i got the same Server down error. In my opinion, it must be something related to the rom. Please forgive me if i'm wrong. I'm no expert.

This is the best version yet! Smooth, and everything just works perfectly, 1080p at 60hz. I'm using the mount manager instead of the init script, as it automatically (re)mounts when wifi connects, and unmounts when it disconnects. It does use the same kernel modules though. Thank you so much!

So far so good. I'm having one issue where xbmc isn't gracefully exiting, it just freezes when I hit exit. The only solution I've got is to hit the home key and force close xbmc.

Some issues that i've came across:
-reboot to recovery nor to bootloader does not work, it just reboots the device
-OTA function shows an update, downloads it and reboots, but does not flash the update itself, same reason as above, only device reboots

Can you please explain the differences between 99NFS and 99NFSNEW scripts located within init.d directory? I used to have your HFW rom flashed as up until now and automount NFS share worked like a charm, now on justXBMC it mounts the share but as soon as it is being accessed it just hangs while reading it's content...

I have had some random glitches/crashes with some of my videos and the plugins I use but most everything works.

One thing is that a 9gb MKV file I tried to play barely works - I'm on wifi (N) though, so that could be the issue...it shows no video, though. XBMC tries to buffer and play with no luck.

VLC gives me a little video and audio before freezing, and mxplayer refuses to work with the mkv. It's Daft Punk's Interstella 5555. I can get a link if necessary.
