I did install the SHMOD firmware that has stock bootloader for ddr4 v3 version of h96 pro+
here is the log https://pastebin.com/Rn6GRnPL
hope this could help.
Thanks again for your help and time, i really appreciate.

Maybe the timing on u-boot@ddr4_timing_update_v3_board.tar.xz was right and that's why it did halt for few seconds at 2% before failing for another unknown reason.
I did use the amlogic tools 4.0 to extract and rebuild the image.
EDIT: i tried again the last 792mhz version with celereon instead of daviedpda firmware but this time was strange it gave me an error few times and then it started to flash but it stopped at around 70-80% with
Code:[21:39:29 594][HUB2-1][Err]--failed:Verify Failed with sha1sum, origin sum "824ccc63ea00322766feee53434a10571d2a1ef7" != gen sum "6edf912a08f97b4cfcecbeb8a9f0acd6d4f49180" [21:39:29 597][HUB2-1][Err]--[0x30405004]UBOOT/Partition system/Verify patition/Error result

bumerc tried again with supercelereon firmware and except a small error at 2% it flashed and booted with apparently no problem, i've used an older version to repack it.
I will need to resolve the input problem and then i will test it to check if there will be any freeze/reboot.
Again, thanks a lot you did an amazing job.

Very little information and no log. Are full 3GB RAM recognized? Install CoreElec on the SDcard and test it

Slow internal to SD file transfer!!!! 600KB - 2400KBs
Attaching USB HD not always seen.
Wake from screen saver may infrequently result in fuzzy text. Choose screen resolution again to restore.
