Hello guys I have Question for you.
I am using the davit rom now for a wile on my alfawise H96 pro from gearbest blue board and it works real good but not perfect .
only not with youtube in hdr 60 hz
also wen I use kodi an play
I some times seea studder.
I use the apk auto frame rate for amlogic gpu,s.
but stil a studder in 24p film playback.
is there a better rom for my alfawise h96 box blue board ?
with a good hdr 4k 60 hz youtube playback .
I did not see this on the original firmware android 7.1 .
I have 2 boxes.
one on 7.1 and one on davit 9.0 .
because I use a sony tv with android 9.0 and a panasonic tv with a shield.
I like android tv better than a chinese phone rom .
Any advise on what rom works best on this H96 blue board .
and can I flash it over the davit rom using the reset button and the amolgic flash tool.

In 17.1 amlogic was removed from accelerating. This has caused many issues which once ran flawlessly on 16.1 Playback sometimes jittery, IPTV stream fail, and image is not displaying in correct ratio or framerate etc.

History: Kodi/ XBMC >was for college nerds >became too popular with the Android crowd(millions)> Kodi team crippled android/amlogic usage...popularity dropped. >Today???

Many addons will not work- pre v17. http search request vs post v17 , https, search architecture.
Look into SPMC. A mod that was the last support from koying ( ex-kodi team, main android developer).
