Hello everyone.
For those who have not read my previous posts, my device H96 Pro+ LPDDR 3/32 LAN 1000 (Blue Plate).
After a lot of testing I have managed to get many of the firmware that restarted to work.
The firmware vtx_sbx_beelink_gt1u_lp_ap6255_pie_15_1.img works for me, but there are things that are not going well, the rest of the tested firmware restarted for me.
After a lot of research, see previous posts, I managed to find out that the problem was in the _aml_dtb.PARTITION file, after extracting and examining the level 3 file \level3\devtree\single.dts and comparing it with the signatures that were reset, the problem it's in the emmc section, in f_max, the firmwares that are rebooted have the value f_max = <0x5f5e100>; and the one from beelink that if it works has the value f_max = <0x2faf080>;, I have substituted this value in the firmware that did not work for me, I have repackaged the image and from there they start fine, although not everything goes well, but well, yes they start and I can test them. To do this I have used vtx__kitchen_v5.1.
I have tried are the following:
BOX6D_update_khadas_pie_multiwifi_20200711_arm64_L PDDR3_ATV.img (KHADAS, it's going well but there are things that don't work)
SC_VIM2_USER_NORMAL-v2.0-20210315.img (it is KHADAS (VIM2) ready and works regular on H96 Pro+)
5.+[v8]+Aidan's+ROM+[S912]+[ATV+9]+[LPDDR3]+[LAN1000]+(qca9377)+(h96+pro.+tx9pro+3G..).img (Goes well, not too fine though and it's just ATV)
sbx_h96_pro_plus_3_32_lpddr_pie_15_1.img
sbx_h96_pro_plus_3_32_lpddr_atv_15_1.img
And all the ones I put in previous posts.
Finally I have stayed with the sbx_h96_pro_plus_3_32_lpddr_pie_15_1.img (personally I prefer pie, I don't like ATV), in my opinion it is the one that works best and I think I have tried tried everything that is in the forums, I have managed to make things work that I didn't They were on the previous firmware with Android 7.1.2, for example Amazon Prime Video.
I have rooted with magisk and I have managed to make it pass Safetynet, that is, I have a certified device in PlayStore, with which I can use Netflix, Prime Video, etc..., installed from PlayStore.
To root you have to follow these steps, I put them above since there are tutorials on the internet and the Magisk installation guide on github is very good.
1. Install Magisk.
2. Open Magisk and patch the recovery.PARTITION file, checking the recovery option.
3. Shutdown and boot with TWRP, flash the patched file to the recovery partition.
4. Turn off and boot the device keeping the reset pressed (to load magisk), there is no other way.
5. With this I would be rooted.
For SafetyNet to pass, the following files must be installed:
1. From Magisk: MagiskHidePropsConf-v6.1.2.zip
2. From Magisk: safetynet-fix-v2.2.1.zip
3. From PlayStore, install Termux.
Restart the device, once restarted, open termux and type su to obtain root, type props, the menu will appear, enter option 1, in the next menu press option f, the list of phone brands will appear, I have taken the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and android 9. Once finished, it will ask to restart. In theory when booting it should pass SafetyNet.
I have made it very general, since there are many tutorials that explain it and I only put it to give an idea about the process.
I need to polish something, customize the remote control and control the led light. The led in standby mode stays blue and I don't like it, I liked how it was running in Android 7.1.2, which was on Blue, standby Red and off Off. But this is another story.
To put a snag, on Netflix it jerks from time to time, it's not serious, although it's not pleasant, I hope it improves in future versions.
So far I am delighted with SlimBox 15.1, it has given a new life to my old H96 Pro+.
Many thanks to the entire community, thanks to the help of some of you directly and to all the posts I have read, I have managed to make my H96 Pro+ work like new.
Greetings.
