1.2.3 Old Version XBMC Issues

All,
Not looking for answers but wanted to give my issues I have seen here. I have the old version of the k-r42 and used the 1.2.3 wasser firmware. Everything seems good until I use XBMC. I have an old alpha of 13 that I have been running along with the new monthly of the 13. Each time I go to run a TV show or movie it starts up and plays great then just exits the show and takes you back to the XBMC show menu. Almost like it randomly gets the stop button pressed. I never had this issue on lewys rom so I ended up going back to his 2.0.4 rom. I really wanted to try out the wasser rom with all the good things I have heard but this was a deal breaker. I have 3 of these units all old version and they all had the same issue with random stops. You could always tell when it was going to happen too. The video frame would start to freeze then just stopped. I have no error logs or know how to pull them again just wanted to send my findings in incase someone else is having the same issue and can produce some troubleshooting methods.

CWM not working

I installed wasser version 1.2.3 old revision, which works brilliantly.

I had to install the CWM recovery that came with Lewy 2.04 ROM in order for it to work with my wireless mouse but apart from that, it's fantastic so far.

I had doubts with version it would install, if old or new revision, but finally installed the old one.

Sincerelly the only improvement that I noticed from the stock version it´s the off button. Also the system seems to be more clean and a bit speedly too..
However the Rk Remote control stopped working. Maybe someone experienced same problem ?

What was the date code that was printed on the circuit board? It should look something like "1340"

When you see 2013/5/31, that was when the circuit board design was made. That is different from the date code when the board was assembled with different versions of firmware.

Hi. Bought it from take now. All the wasser firmwares including T r42, get stuck on boot logo. And revision 2 firmwares give no video. I wonder if I flash in correct order. I put device in the flash mode. With the rockchip batch tool flash firmware, then device reboots in to cwm, then I get stuck on the boot logo.

Does it say anything on the bottom? I bought from the same link and got an EKB311. Turns out its from a company called ENYBOX. The original firmware can be downloaded from: http://www.enybox.com/En/news/html/?410.html

IR Remote in CWM

Hey. My IR Remote does not work in CWM. So i cant controll anything in CWM. Dont know if it is a known problem, but i just wanted to report it. Is there any solution for it ?

I did. Flashed factory image. It is all good now. If you look few pages back you'll see jimbo identified the manufacturer and got firmware image of them

It will work if you connect a wired USB keyboard, i had same problem, and it works right away with a USB keyboard.

When i completely shut down the box and power it up again, all settings in xbmc are gone. They are somehow not saved. Has anybody made this experience? Thank you for your help
