WIFI Speed between 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels

Hi Bob, Thanks for the awesome ROM and I am enjoying it in my new Minix Neo X7. I noticed that the WIFI connect speeds are 65Mbps on both my 2.4G and 5Ghz channels. However, my Sony xperia z1 connects to the 2.4GHz SSID at 72mbps and to the 5GHz at 325Mbps. Wondering whats the use of dual band in Minix if both connects at the same speed. I have a Dlink DIR 865L dual band router if that info is of any use. Both the Neo X7 and the Router are meters apart and I don't see an issue of Signal strength for sure. Your thoughts please.

        The best!

        Hi,

So, now I tried them all.....:Kitkat 4.4.2 from wasser, Quickshot v2, the stock firmware of course, and now finaly...Finless 1.8 by Bob.
        This is where I stop!
Finless 1.8 is the only rom that works with no errors so far, runs very smooth and of all the roms I tried, this rom works best with "beyond XBMC"
My opinion? Finless 1.8 is the winner.

        Compliments for Finless BOB

Did you try playing full screen flash videos from browser? If so, how does it work?

Yes I did, using Dolphin browser (flash player enabled) Works like a charm :-)

Thank you for the confirmation. I will give it a try because my current ROM has decided to completely quit playing flash video in full screen with Chrome, Browser and Dolphin. Every time I try it I just get a black screen and then browser and flash crashes.

Just installed the ROM with 1080 OC kernel and the video keeps going out for a second every few minutes making the X7 completely useless . In the setting I have 1080p60 selected and my TV is displaying the same.

                  Any suggestion?

Never experienced problems like that, maybe a different kernel?

Can I flash new kernel without flashing full ROM again?

How? Using the same flash tool and not selecting ROM img?

Reflashed the rom with stock kernel but had same issue so I flashed no airpin version and after few minites of rebooting started seeing the same issue so i have give up on this rom for now. Going to try stock version 10
