Audio problem

Hello,
I'm having problem with 5.1 sound. I have my Minix NEO X7 (Finless 1,8 no OC, not rooted)) connected to yamaha receiver over HDMI and from receiver to TV over HDMI. I couldn't get audio passtrough work. When i choose ROCKCHIP-SPDIF or ROCKCHIP-SPDIF PASSTROUGH for output device my receiver doesn't get any signal. For other 3 devices i get only stereo signal. Is there any solution for this.
I must say that other than that problem this FW with Beyond XBMC works great for me. Congrats and big thanks to all.

I bought mine after 5/12/13 and always had the annoying screen flicker no matter what ROM I tried even minixs' stock ROM. I was about to send it back like I did with the first one I got (that one constantly crashed) then I tried the KitKat 4.4.2 ROM and bam! No more flicker. I still get the occasional freez to shut down but so far this is the most stable ROM I've tried. I just hope it gets updated like Finless' ROMs.

Finless 1.8 is a rooted rom. It does not need rooting, already done. Does it have strasform patch on rom ? If not, you need to copy and paste with es file explorer or root explorer the patch. Good Luck Kevin

i got some files from u - if u need them i can upload them to some hosters - like share-online or so.
have to say i only got the ockernels and finless 1.8 oO but if u need them u can have it ^^
als i have to say that i always thought he would copy other work.
i followed the dev of kitkat inside the forum very closely and every time he went in wassers post he was explaining -.- like "u cant use 2 hdds - my rom can!!! " or "lan dowsnt work,that sux"
so iam very glad hes gone - thx

in my opinion there are other people here who also stealing code oO
many kitkat-roms apeared last time and every of them look 99% the same oO
strange.

before a few days i set up one new X7 device, and with your ROM i had the screen flickering issue. i tried a lot of roms with the same result. i thought that that happened due to the oc kernel, as i have read all over the forums about this issue (screen goes black for a second or two as if its no HDMI connected) and the rk3188t. i didnt opened the device, so i cannot commend on the processor.
I did not experience this issue with the quickshot v2 rom, even with oc kernel.
Those two roms are based on the same base (Minix 008) arent they? Maybe the answer to this has to do with the HDMI settings.

haha its cool. I appreciate those on this site with out it my Minix wouldn't be worth much.

I agree with you, I do believe its a tv issue because i tested the same rom on 3 other tvs and they dont do the same kind of flickering, however they DO black out every 15 mins or so for about 3 seconds and then turn back on. Sound also stops when it blacks out.

If it's an issue with the TV why would my flicker problem completely disappear when I went to Wassers' KitKat 4.4.2 ROM?
I've tried so many ROMs and kernels I have lost count. Only one I haven't tried is Quickshot v2. Just gonna stick with KitKat unless Bob can figure it out with a new ROM.
