Frequent Buffering when playing 1080 movies...

Have a lot of buffering when playing back 1080p movies from my mybooklive 3TB NAS. On the otherhand, my DreamBox with 400MHz MIPS processor and 256MB RAM can play those movies without any hickup....

Using Finless 1.8ROM..used all kernals...Stock, OC etc...

I am so new to XBMC, i dont even know what it does, however, i loved the description of a friend of mine "it is DreamBox like, but software", i got the idea from that and i sure liked the Sport streams inside, however, i am still too manually attached to watch anything streaming from the internet, mainly Sopcast does it for me.

I have tried your app since the SuperRepo part awaked some research instincts on me, but i couldnt fire up the app, starts, blacks out, and goes back to home screen.

Please, invest on a thread, if not two, one introducing people to XBMC, or as you familiarised us with SBMC as well, seems like you have a lot to share, honestly .

ART is looking promising, but you need app compatibility, and not sure about when some of the apps will be compatible... so better wait...

I'm sure the "fast" is caused by an AOSP version, not the device per se... wait for the 4.4 HTC version and you'll see how slow can be a 4.4 version

So do i guys, in fact, i respect Bob for its work so much that it felt wrong to bomb the thread with KitKat. Lets see, now he has an extra resource to work with, the stuff that has been released lately and then he has the Minix resources. We should probably see two roms from him in the future, but time is what he needs most, and while we wait and are flash hungry, we can help around in other ways. At the end of the day, we're here for community support, and theres no way the community is going to grow if we wont test things around.
