I'll see if I can find that one also.

I just installed hubwizard thru super repo to test and it installed and ran fine.

Have you got any other xmbc's running in the background ?

I think I have found the check for hardware in libXBMCvcodec_stagefrightVPU-arm.so. Will try and edit it.

        Guys,

Don't loose time on this. I've been lazy on this one, but I won't be for next beta, so you'll be back at square one.

Minix spent money to create this, so he just do not want all the other RK vendor to leech the work.
Just try to convince him to be open or find an agreement.

Alright. But could you do us Finless ROM users a favour? If there needs to be a device check for a genuine MINIX, please implement it some other way than the current build.prop-based one.

P.S. Nice to see you here as well.

If you have an idea to identify a minix device other than the buid props, you're welcome.
                    Some /sys value maybe?

Problem is that those RK builds are so generic it's hard to find something specific

Here is test 3 of the apk.

All the same as test 2 except I have made it so that it will do the hardware rendering while on this rom without changing your build.prop and losing your play store functionality.

Let me know if it works.

I tested it on lewy ROM 1.2.2 and it works. I can install further plugins. But ...justxbmc is the only one which play all my 1080p content from my Qnap NAS smoothly with CPU min bottom speed 1608. None of all other xbmc can do this. Believe me I tried all of them.

I don't really have any 1080p stuff to test.

I have had Dark Knight 720P, 7GB, MKV streaming to it over SMB for the last hour and that has played perfectly so far.

I will wait for the film to end to make sure it's all ok and I am downloading The.Wolverine.2013.EXTENDED.1080p.BluRay.x264 at the moment which is 10 GB to test 1080P next.

OK I will bite Flumpster, why can I not compile this APK without getting script errors when I use XBMC?
I am using apkmultitool and have taken apart many APK before.
I am using the framework-res from this ROM too.

If I take it apart and compile it without touching anything and sign it, I get script errors.
If I take it apart and compile it using the option to use the original keys to sign it, it works.

                              What am I missing?

"Прости им, они не ведают, что творят"
"Perdona loro perché non sanno quello che fanno"
"Vergib ihnen, denn sie wissen nicht, was sie tun"
"Vergeef hen want ze weten niet wat ze doen"
"Pardonne-leur car ils ne savent pas ce qu'ils font"
"Perdónalos porque no saben que lo que hacen"
"Oprosti im, jer ne znaju što čine"
"Forgive them as they know not what they do"

I am not sure where you are going wrong mate.

I have scripts set up to do lots of things for me on my TF201 rom and I am using the same scripts and apktool versions here.

Thats all I did basically was used apktool first to install the framework. I used the one from the rom I use which is Lewys 2.04 rom on the K-r42.

                                Code:
                                apktool if framework-res.apk
                                Then I decompiled the apk.

                                Code:
                                apktool d xbmc.apk decompiled
Now I change whatever I want in the smali etc and then I recompile.

                                Code:
                                apktool b decompiled compiled.apk
Now I have a script that will resign the apk with a test key and zipalign it.

                                Code:
                                setlocal EnableDelayedExpansion
                                @ECHO off

SET /P rom=tell me the name and path of the apk/zip to sign?

                                copy !rom! x!rom!

                                cd lib
                                rem sign the rom
                                java -Xmx512m -jar signapk.jar -w testkey.x509.pem testkey.pk8 ..\x!rom! ..\x!rom!

                                rem zip align
                                zipalign -f 4 ..\x!rom! ..\signed-!rom!
                                cd ..\

                                del x!rom!
I am attaching the files that I use for you to try.

                                Extract the zip.
Place the apk inside the folder and rename it to test.apk and also place framework-res.apk in there also.

                                Run the Install Framework.bat
                                Run the decompile.bat
Edit what you want in the decompiled folder and when you are finished run the compile.bat
Run the one_click_signer.cmd and when prompted type in compiled.apk
When that has finished you will be given a signed-compiled.apk. Rename this to whatever you want.
