If you are in 1080p mode... quickflash the large icons tweak.

Unknown for me... I usually just view Youtube vid's in Beyond XBMC but when I tested two vid's just now in the app that came with the ROM ( not upgraded ) it ran fine. Perhaps it was an issue just with the source vid you tried it on...

Yes... just flash it according to the instructions Minix has on there forum.

If I recall it has a wifi display on the status bar also... I just didn't like the idea of using their overlay and prefer a true 1080p instead.

Error on install 720 kernel...

So ...
I have successfully installed the kernel in 1080. Before installing I did a factory reset, a wipe system, wipe cache and Dalvik.


I was unable to install the recovery from 720p ... always gave me the error: The package has not been installed. I also re-downloaded the package and tried a new install with the second kernel package 720.
I have flashed patches with small icons quickflasher before using 720p kernel.


I do not understand ... solutions?

I flashed the ROM and then flashed small icon pack via quickflasher but I am unable to flash 720 kernel as quickflasher does not see it even though it is in the same directory as other zip files.

Do I need to install kernel via recovery?

Quickflasher only recognizes 3 files on the free version, so the solution is easy

So I need to purchase PRO version? That does not sound like an optimal solution just to flash one zip. Can I do it in recovery?

Sorry but i don't fully understand what are you trying to say. If you want to flash a kernel, use quickflasher app. Create a folder named quickflasher under /sdcard and copy there the zip file of the kernel you want to flash, then run quickflahser, choose the file and follow instructions from the app, it's pretty straightforward. If you have trouble runing quickflasher please let me know.

Don't be so daft... remove the one's you aren't using/flashing... just leave 3 in at any one time.

I removed all zips. Only one is in the folder and it still does not see it. I will restart Minix and see if that works.

I removed all zips. Only one is in the folder and it still does not see it. I will restart Minix and see if that works.
